Whoever INA lines up in MD, it will be a very strong MD,
and I'm not saying they will be beaten,
but I think they're more beatable for JPN than CHN's XD and MD.

Could there be a scratch JPN pair for both XD and MD against China?

    KamuEndo for MD?

SonoTaka for XD? if WD is going to be FukuHiro?

The thing is, who decides the order of event??

I think order of event today or tomorrow can have a very big impact!

What.. I wish there were many Kevins or Gintings in Indonesia lol

The names you mentioned might be monsters, but this is mixed team events. It might be different if it was Thomas Cup.

Kamura is playing very well and Sonoda is lacking this time. Hence I said KamuEndo.

They are still here thomas cup or not!!! It'll depend on order of events as well!

BTW ... no scratch pairing and the order of event is slightly more JPN favoured to be honest. At least we could get this.

    MD - INA
    WS - JPN
    MS - JPN
WD - this becomes the deciding one for JPN
XD - of course deciding one for both INA and JPN

Lucking it wasn't XD followed by WD and then MS...

Who decides on order of event?

Since JPN has 3 top WD, and they could rest all 3 yesterday courtesy of Momota,
I'd be extremely disappointed if JPN's WD does not score an emphatic victory,
if ever it comes down to WD.

I did not expect any scratch pairing today, but maybe tomorrow.
But today's lineup is giving us some cards on PJB's mind for the finals.
Tomorrow, he's not expecting to play:
    - MatsuNaga, which makes sense, considering their two recent defeats vs CHN WD.
    - AY, which would mean NO in the finals vs CYF.

I think JPN team needs to think hard for the lineup if they face CHN team. CYF has won the last two meetings over NO, minus the retired match in WTF. If this match happens, I think it is better to be put on the fourth match, which require a female player to do double duties for that to happen.

Looking at INA vs JPN lineups, I said that JPN is the favourite for 4 categories.
But if it's CHN vs JPN tomorrow,
CHN would be the favourite in at least 3 categories: XD, MD and WD.
A victory tomorrow would require at least one exploit.

    @Head Heavy
You're quite the Okuhara fan, are you. :D

I think you're right with China being favourites in the categories you mentioned, but I think they are also favourites in WS (certainly if NO plays). Plus, KM certainly won't be at an advantage having several hours of rest less than SYQ. All of that provided they even beat Indonesia, which is also not guaranteed at all.

By the way, does anybody know how the order of matches is determined?

    Considering how outplayed they've been,
it's a miracle the score is so close in G2.

I certainly don't want to see SonoKamu tomorrow.

    Wasn't gonna happen :(

Ikeeeeeeee Akane-chan!!! Will she be able to live up to the team pressure?

    Post Match:

I mean Akane-Chan has got to work on this now. Imagine what a TTY or a CY or a PVS will do to this corner!!

    OK King Momota now!

The women are playing nicely! Much better than the MD in terms of freshness and racket handling and shot placement whether from back-court or front-court.

    So far .....

I'm not sure anyone is a clear favourite for WS.
It's true that CYF soundly beat Okuhara recently.
But yesterday, CTC massacred Christie, though his record was 0-5 or something like that.

CYF has definitely improved, but somehow, I feel the pressure could get to her tomorrow.
    And it's a slow hall.
