Same things happen with LCW when he had to beat 1-2 top Chinese players like BCL/CJ/CL/DPY before vsing LD in many of the finals

Yihaaa CTC finally goes deep in a big event! Happy for him and chances are not bad for a gold.
Taipei indeed with possible two gold
And a bronze for Lee/Lee in MD.

For PVS I fear another silver coming if TTY plays at least on normal form...

Its a loss for Ginting and a very close loss..I doubt if he'd be able to sleep tonight.

HISTORY made for CTC..we should give him credit guys..he played well and he won.
CTC becomes the first Chinese Taipei Player to have reached the finals of ASIAN GAMES.

    Well done Champ !

AG..My heart goes out to you man..you jave definitely played your heart out and we know you did your best and We also know playing at home has its plus and minuses..You must be under a lot of pressure and also you made a few erratic errors by playing hastingly..Dunno why you were in a hurry.

    Anyways...Congrats on your bronze.

Though I feel bronze Doesnt suit the way you played but cause of these errors thats what you will have to satisfy yourself with..Im sure you will come back stronger.

Time for my fav pair, Chen/Jia.
At least give Taka/Matsu a hard time, if you were to lose.

Kudos to Chou Tien Chen, a brave fighter, a mature, more experienced, smart and thinking player, the only advantage he has over the inspired Ginting who is also the fastest mover on the circuit, imo.

Sorry, I changed 'faster' to 'fastest' mover, Ginting, the others who can nearly match him in speed being Jonatan Christie, Shi Yuqi, Kantaphon Wangcharoen, Wang Tzu Wei, and Chou TC as well.

TTY looks in phenomenal form, at least today. Aside from few mistakes, she beat NO and SN quite comfortably.
PVS is indeed, in a big trouble.

Love to see CTC and Ginting had small talk while hugging after the game ends. They used to play for the same club in Indonesia's badminton league, didn't they?

Absolute great match overall, like JC vs KN.
Hands up to both of them.

Frankly for sensationally beating Kento Momota and Chen Long, Anthony Ginting deserves to be in the final at least. But that's not how it works in professional sports, you just have to defeat all opposition to lift the title. Yeah, professional sport is cruel.

Too good to be true. I hope two golds. One from Men Singles, The first after our legendary Taufik is not too good to be true. :)

Im happy for Taipei and India both the countries made history by winning more than 1 medals at AG.

For PVS and TTY regardless of their victory have made history and its an achievement for both being in the finals.

I think PVS might win another Silver and even with that I dont think I can think of any other Badminton player except LCW who has won Consecutive Major Silvers ?

like OLY,WC,AG(2016,2017,2018) not counting CWG as they are not even compitent enough...Great Achievement for her.

For a moment, I thought CTC, hugging Ginting over the net upon winning the final point, was about to kiss the latter on the cheek but he actually wanted to whisper something into his ears over the noise.:p :D

Congratulation to CTC for making it to the final. He has a good chance winning the gold.

Guess the film star has better luck in the draw than Ginting lol

Gintings draw was not good and also he collapsed in the team event already. If he played CTC when being less tired he will have a better chance of winning.
