Was he got paid? As far i know , the money was not given to him. Even if somebody is willing to pay that money, there is no guarantee that he will win all , considering his recent performances. Many top players who has defeated lindan were playing in this league. So, I think it is wise decision for a league owner to use that much amount to many players instead of concentrating on one.
