i agree but not sure about hold effect. Is it depend on stiffness and repulsive capability of racket? i find myself that yonex is more stiff that victor. am i right? non-yonex user with no bias. Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk
What I'm talking about has nothing to do with the stiffness of a racket as far as I've experienced. If it were. My BS12 and Kason F9 should have it even worse. Historically speaking from experience, whenever YY and Victor have the same stiffness descriptions. Victor is usually stiffer. Sent from my LG-H990 using Tapatalk
that's why we use RRI instead? so compare mx90 and hx900 or hx990 on RRi topic . whats ur opinion? Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk
No comment. I haven't touched the MX90 since 2014. I'm not even giving a cent to the 990. The dry swing alone told me that it does absolutely nothing the 900 can't do better. Sent from my LG-H990 using Tapatalk
hey guys wat do u think about js 12 vs x900 both are even balanced... is it js12 is faster swing but x900 has a harder smash?? Sent from my SM-G955N using Tapatalk
how does the hx900 compare to the mx jjs? Obviously each person's experience is different, but which one is better?
Better is subjective. I could say the MX JJS is better than the HX900 but then someone could dispute it as their own personal play fits the HX900 instead and that is better to them. You see the dilemma in your question now? Sent from my LG-H990 using Tapatalk
True, hence I mentioned that each person's experience is different. Perhaps if someone can mention the difference between 2 rackets as objectively as possible?
Should have started with that as the question instead then Objectively speaking.. Speed - JJS Stiffness - HX900 Power - About the same for me. But then both rackets require a difference in swing technique to fully utilise. Ease of use - JJS hands down. The HX900 with its stiffer shaft and tiny sweetspot are not for the faint hearted. It will make you work for every edge it can give you. Anything else? Sent from my LG-H990 using Tapatalk
Lol...if people are allowed to rephrase and reclarify their thoughts, there will be less wars Thanks for that @Ch1k0 , my last objective question is....which one has the most stable head upon shuttle impact?
Ooh that's a trick question if I ever heard one. HX900 I would say. The torsional stability is insane thanks to the shaft technology they've got in the HX line. It shows even more on the platform of the 900. But truthfully. There is only a marginal difference between it and the high end MX line in general. The difference is there, but the difference also doesn't matter when you play. If you're aiming for the lines with both rackets, whether it's in or out won't be because of the stability. I see....interesting. I have read what people have been saying about the torsional stability of the hx900 so been curious of the comparison, as I enjoy using stable head rackets. Another question (sorry I lied ) , just to clarify your thoughts about the power of both rackets - what sort of swing you think does the hx900 and the mx jjs require? Thanks @Ch1k0 , appreciate your thoughts
Go away liar JJS for me worked better with a bit more arm in the smash (slower, bigger swing) HX900 worked better with a bit more wrist in the smash (faster, more compact swing) Sent from my LG-H990 using Tapatalk
Just ordered HX800, after breaking HX900. It was too head heavy and stiff for me to use properly. Anyone know how HX800 compares to HX900, in terms of ease of use? Is it the same head heaviness and stiffness? More? Less? Also, I was looking around for a racket matrix that showed both HX900 and HX800. Anyone have one? I've looked through this thread, and I don't think I saw anything.
I have the HX900 being stiffer, but the balance is roughly the same. The HX900 has the far better feel and stability.
just curious, how unforgiving is this racket? not the best at always hitting sweet spots but i heard smashes and drives packs a punch, coming from a nanoray 900, 800 ??
i didn't have too many problems with the sweet spot, coming from the Jetspeed 10, i think it's the stiffness and head weight that will get you, if anything. this racket was much more head heavy than its "even balance" (according to victor) would suggest. I found this to be more difficult than a ZFII.
