Thats how it felt to me. It was like tk-9k levels of head heaviness. It was crazy. Maybe this is victors QC that ive heard so much about

HX900 is definitely less head heavy compared to ZFII

If you put another head on an HX900 it wouldn't be as head-heavy as a ZF-II.

Well, i must have had a weird one, because it felt heavier than any other racket ive swung. I just got the hx800, and it definitely feels lighter (in terms of head weight) than the hx900, which felt too heavy to wrist-swing in any meaningful way.

Can anyone owing a HX900 do me a favor? I've just got mine today, all is great as expected! But as I checked the shaft, I've noticed something, well.. haven't seen before in other rackets I own. The surface of the shaft is not 100% smooth as I drag my finger on the shaft's surface. It doesn't seem that anything is broken either.. The coating is perfect, no weird sound when hit or bend the shaft. It is as if some position of the shaft is wrapped by another layer inside which I cannot see. Mine is the position exactly around the text "hypernano x900" on the shaft.

Since this is my first Victor racket, I have no other way to check whether it is normal. Maybe it's some fabulous tect added to the shaft. So I just wanna cross check with another racket and make that this is not a kind of defect. I appreciate all your help! :)

In my experience, very unforgiving. Smashes pack a good punch, but only if it came from the racket's sweetspot. Drives, I do better with my JS12. It saps power and converts it to vibrations if the player's skill and technique is not switched on. Sometimes in combination with sweat, poor technique, and the rigidity of the frame, off-centre hits will almost make the racket twist in your hands.

On nights, however, where I'm in focused, energetic, and properly warmed-up, this racket is unstoppable. It's fast enough, even with the thicker frame compared to the JetSpeeds. Delivering a serve is a joy. The power transferred to the shuttle when I smash is just amazing and since it has a rigid, stable frame, you will always hit towards the direction you want to. Will always be my go-to racket.

The HX-900X, seems like it has the anti-torsion system that TK-F had.

And also the good old 2+4 pattern. :)

Dear sweet mother of God. They put a JS12 paint on the HX900..... They're clearly out of ideas.

They could always play Apacs and loosely copy Yonex designs

How about. Stick to the original beautiful colour. That would work.

    Not sure about the colour.

They seem to have replaced Nano Fortify TR with Pyrofil.

Wonder how this is gonna change the already great HX900...

You are not wrong. Unless they start putting a more aerodynamic frame like the TKF.
