What a waste chance for once in a while. Do they really intend to play like this forever?
I hope BAM push Goh/Izzudin, Chooi/Low and Ong/Teo in the next few year.
By 2020, Goh/Tan will no longer make any impact, like post-year Koo/Tan.

This was the best chance for MAS and LCW to win the Sudirman Cup for the first time and what happen?

Goh/Tan proved what a disaster they are right now. Two loses in a row, even after winning the first set in the first,
    was very disappointing to me.

tbh i dont see any major impact now, still think their wins were more of the opponents inconsistency

Instead, I see every opponents beat them due to their inconsistency.
Did you watch any of their match this year? It is a bloody mess of a mistakes.
Net errors, smash errors, drive errors, you can almost see all of them,
They deserve to be called slow and error driven at this point.

my point is, they only win if they meet inconsitent pairs, look at the previous team tournaments, LYD/YYS were not in their form, they still had to TRY to win. aft the round robin MSIA meets KOR again, they lost

Goh/Tan had a potential to perform better but they just can't get any thing done right.
Even a simple task, to put a drop into opponent's area, Goh/Tan can do even worse.
I predict them to lose in R1 or R2 in World Championship. No chance at all.

So much of hype and things spoken for this player. I an going to say something now. Tan Wee Kiong knee is heavily strapped when he plays throughout the whole tournament. Then Goh V Shem knee just as usual strapped due to injury. Both players have serious knee injuries and it is obvious. The heavy knee strapping hampered Tan Wee Kiong from bending his knees. He cannot even bend his knees because it is painful.

If I were the player who is badly and severely injured I will not want to play.

Why must an injured player risk aggravating his injury and continue on playing just to be criticised and scolded nonstop?

Maybe you are right. Goh/Tan can go back to badminton school to train on how to perform normally, for their own sake.
Most top 20 can even play more consistently. Goh/Tan really lets MAS down this time, even after the OG gold medal fiasco.

The problem is not really any injuries. If it hampers their movement, I can understand, but not their decreasing level of shots played.
They couldn't even play like any top 20 pairs.

Sorry I think you need to chill and relax a bit. No need to get yourself so worked up and kept scolding both Goh V Shem and Tan Wee Kiong nonstop here. Both may retire earlier by this year 2017 of their nagging knee injuries still cannot heal.

I am not scolding them at all. I am just saying what is the core problem in their inconsistency.
I would like to prefer for Goh/Tan to do more simple drills than anything, really.

Sorry think the discussion had better end here before it escalated to something else. The main problem that leads to their inconsistency is their serious knee injuries that hamper their movements at the court. When your knees are too painful there is no point playing. Sorry the discussion had better just end here.

It seems that you are in denial. You don't want to accept other reason. Listen well.
Goh/Tan makes simple mistakes all the time. At net, every place imaginable. Can you say couldn't able to kill a blank point shuttle is caused by injuries? The simple smashes goes out most times. A simple touch at nets send it right into the net.
Every other MD player must have been injured at some point but can they play terribly like Goh/Tan?
The answer is not. Blaming injury for bad basic skill is just baseless.
