69c was a nightmare to string, even with my string mover and fine round nose pliers it was too soft to get through shared holes.

That's why I just enjoy playing with strings and pay someone else to string my rackets...

That's interesting as I managed to string lots of rackets with this string. Yes, it is a soft string but I managed to string without too much trouble

Paul, what kind of racket holes were you stringing? For example, recent rackets have taken to blocked holes, not shared holes, so those are easier, but blocked holes are surely trouble :(

I didnt have much problems with shared holes either with that string, using a string mover.

Do you feel like Fire is a softer string to string with than regular ZM?

Only strung the 69 Power, it did feel softer while stringing.

:crying: the plight of a stringer... but it's okay, it's worth it for FIRE!

My ZM62 fire review comparing to NBG98

    I normally play NBG98 on 25LBs. After 5 Months, NBG98 broken,
    I strung ZM62 fire on NS3000.

String easy: ZM62 fire has more rough surface than NBG98, hard
stringing is little bit uneasy than NBG98
Tension: Since it is hard, I just put 23 LB instead of 25 LB, but it
    hard still.
Power: With 23 LB, I feel it has same power as NBG98 at 25 LBs.
But ZM62 fire feel more crispy when hitting.
Sound: Awesome sound, much better sound than NBG98
String Movement: Less movement than NBG98
Tension retain: Unknow, but I expect to be good since it is Zymax
Durability: Unknown, however, I expect it will last me 2 Months,
I added extra cross at top.

Just played with the ZM62F Orange at 29lbs. Comparing to ZM65 Black at 31lbs. In two words: absolute dream!

Although the string is not very hard, stringing was fairly easy because of the gauge and double-gromets were not that difficult on my Adidas APpro. You gotta love the sound when playing. Deep "boom" in attack, nice and crisp "ping" and feeling in defence and net-play. Will have to see how the tension holds and how it feels after multiple sessions. Hopefully better than ZM65. This first experience was already worth stringing every 2 instead of 3 weeks though, in case they don't hold that long. Will see whether there is a difference between the orange and the white version later on and compare it to the ZM66F too.

For now: I'm a fan

At the regional distributor, few more days to retailer...can't wait! Feel like just driving to the distributor to pick up, which is just a 2 km away. But no, they only deal with retailers...

Well yeah.. that's why retailers exist. If everyone did like you want to do, retailers would be out of business.

    Become a retailer. Simples!

So far I think 62@24 = 66@26 = 69@27, maybe 28. Rough guesses. @26lb 66 is too hard for me (lacking power at 75%effort) and 69 feels too soft. Next up 69@27. 66@24 felt crazy repulsive though so that's second on the to do list.

^ Yep, those equivalent tensions sound (ie ping) about right from my experience. Pun intended.
