    Shows the greatness of teamwork.
For the lack of a better word, these players were average but when combined, they produce miracles.

Yup, the average quality players could be dangerous for team event.

So the major upset of R/16 is Wang Yihan lost to home hope Sayaka Takahashi.

oh no. What an amzing bad line-up for tv-coverage. come on. Whoever decides this, suprises me quite often :/
LXR vs CM and KT vs. HKV is reasonable, but MX, WD and MD are very boring. I m sure the majority of the badminton commuity is not really interested in these matches cmpared to other line-ups (MX one sided, WD two Jap pairs only defending for 90 min xdd and a MD where they only serve and return)... SAD imo
They really leave JOJ vs LD out?

Sadly, Wang Yihan is still plagued by an 'old illness' - acting up once in a blue moon. (Not at all implying that Sayaka T is an easy opponent for her).

Yeah, WYH is not as consistent as LXR, but she is very interesting to watch.:D [To Marin, please win today, I'm sick of watching LXR vs Tai or SJH] In the other hand, Sayaka T. has a great skill. IMO, if she can cut down her error, she will be in top 5. Sometimes, she scores a lots for herself but much more for her opponent.

The XD match isn't so one-sided as it seems. The unseeded Indonesian pair take the 1st game 21-16.

Where can I watch the video online?
Youtube live streaming is blocked in India and all the other sites suggested here do not seem to work.
    Proxflow doesn't work as well.
(A Caveat- I live in an institution wherein I access internet using a proxy server)
