I can't remember the last time any HKG shuttler succeeds to take any gold medal. This victory is quite a rarity indeed. Congratz to Lee Chun Hei/Chau Hoi Wah :)

The Luo sisters have to improve their front court play, the KOR pair is exploiting it.

The stadium looks like rather empty for finals packed with the host shuttlers... it seems the citizens of Gimcheon City have little fondness of badminton :-(

Hi kelana, I was bit late but was happy to learn that the HK XD won a resounding victory, gratifying. The way this two WD pairs go at each other with long, long rallies, I won't be surprised at least one or two of the four players collapse exhausted at the end of the grueling match and be stretchered off.

The recent Ferry incident might be one reason for the low turnout.

But it's sad because a lot of Korean players in the Final. Lin Dan present. Good match ups.

Just the tournament was held at a bad time...

The Luos are winning the war of attrition. Maybe they can play some soft touches to catch their opponents off-guard and save some energy. Anyway, I feel the KOR resistance breaking down.

One of the Luo sisters is good at looking for openings to flick the shuttle x-court, it seems to me.

The only thing the Koreans "could" do at this point, is pick on ONE of the Luos.

Up until now they've been playing 2 on 2. If they can narrow it down a little bit and fatigue just the one of them, "maybe" it will make a difference...

Jung was certainly doing that for the last rally.

But it's hard, because of obvious reasons...
