Yup, me too, I'd love to see Liu Kai's earlier matches if somebody has it on YouTube.

For WSX to come back from the brink of defeat and win the decider convincingly is a good sign. She may have acquired the knack of beating Sindhu, if that's the case it should bode well for her in their future encounters.

I once read the background story of Gutta Jwala in some local newspaper, she comes from an established family, of a mixed lineage; her father is a native Indian while her mother is a native Mainland Chinese and a successful businesswoman. It's said that Gutta is herself active in social community activities representing the mixed blood group in India.

Regarding sindhu vs shixian MATCH, I must say these losses are stepping stones to her yet budding carreer. We all know she was the only girl who was still under 18 , was able to beat olympic champion li xuerui in china and won then defending world champion wang yihan in world championships in second round, then wang shixian in quarters to get bronze medal.
It will be some more experience if added to her credit , will definitely give her that moral boost. Definitely, she would have known her mistakes this time . I hope she will work on it before uber cup..

Why can't the twins use L Ying and L Yu on their T shirts. Just can't differentiate between the two of them. Luckily am not a boyfriend of one of them. Will be so unromantic to ask "which twin are you?" before you can even kiss her.

Aswini , a hard worker on court had to suffer this defeat because of jwala who most of the time on court was standstill. Lol. I dont know why she do not want to excercise and keep her body fit. Otherwise, waste of participating in the tournaments.

Both Xia Huan and Zhong Qianxin are trying to make a comeback from a long injury layoff, a year or so after surgical treatment in Germany followed by rehabilitation back home.

P.V. Sindhu is a very potential player, she is excellent physically (more suitable one than Saina Nehwal), has sharp smashes and good reaches, good stamina... given the "right opportunity and nurture" she may grow even better becoming one of top echelon player.

But I think both A Ponnappa and J Gutta are beginning to regain their form as a pair and their chances at the upcoming Commonwealth Games as defending champion is looking better. Their beating the THA 3rd seed Duanganong/Kunchala in two straight sets deserves mention.
