Exactly. Once you have decent technique etc, you can use just about anything as long as you're familiar with the racket.

This Joachim FN is amazing la. While other XD players of same age (say, Zhang Jun and Nova W.) already go coaching (and subsequently, suffer "body expansion"), here he is, 35 y.o., still active and kicking. You rock, uncle.
Watching how Hendra Setiawan/Mohd Ahsan totally destroyed the TPE pair is really quite scarry! The entire match was over in just 24 mins! And this is not against any cap-ayam pair....the TPE pair is currently WR10 and ranked even higher than Rian/Angga (INA's 2nd pair). They beat Ko/Lee in the WC last month! In fact, for the past 3 tourneys (stretching back to SIN Open in June), the longest match involving Hendra/Ahsan was merely 35 mins!
ahsan/hendra force their opponent to play flat ball, even they have been smashed over and over, the return ball will be kept as low as possible. they rather choose being stuck on the net than high ball. by playing this style it'll create really really fast and short rally. Nobody doubt about hendra setiawan magic in front of the net. Even gillian clarck say the genius lee yong day really look ordinary, being man in front of the net, his ability is second to none. But if the opponent choose to lift the ball, hard smasher and quick foot ahsan will eat them. The point went up quickly.. to be honest it's not fun since hard to stop them now. at least since singapore open, they not even loose single set. I ever met hendra once and have little warming up on the court. lol but i'm sure the day when their strategy found the right counter strategy will come. hendra is no longer young *by asian athlete age. Stamina and focus will drop when he play long set. Youngster will beat them by using right strategy.
Too bad, they are the only reliable MD pair INA is having right now. The younger ones, well, you know...

But he refused, because the paint was too heavy, he said If the latter is true, I don't know.
