I must say KKK/TBH off to a good start, may they carry the momentum to the end.

Yi, speaking after receiving her medal from International Olympic Committee (IOC) Chairman Jacques Rogge, said: 'I'm very happy. I want to say thanks to China, to my mother and father.'I'm very excited and happy. I have been shooting since I was 13-years-old.'I've been up since 5am this morning. There was a lot of pressure on me.'

--- It seems all the CHN athletes are under a lot of pressure, still a rousing start for the sporting superpower.

Too bad Kevin is in a really bad draw...he might not even get past Round 16 because he will face Sho Sasaki.

Isnt the gold bar a tad heavy, make it heavier to move? One of Andrew Kam's gold mining factory being controversial & all ;);)

Throughout the Olympics, the common refrain is expect the unexpected - Koo/Tan who upped their game with a convincing win against a strong Japanese pair is one of many examples to come. Not a few clear favourites were known to have stumbled during the Olympics in the past and this time is no exception.

The scoreline above is wrong, look here http://www.london2012.com/badminton/schedule-and-results/ - it should be 21-11 and 21-12 , i.e. two straight sets.
