- Hey did you know that in 80s b4 Garden International School all the national players studied in SMK Titiwangsa,Foo KK. Sidek Bros, Ong Teong Boon etc etc. It wa sall the work of an SBA Official /teacher called Mr. Khoo Teng Yoon.
- Not many places to play in Setapak: Chung Hwa Primary Hall, Chung Hwa Private Jln Ipoh, St. John's,SBA hall mebbe. But Cheras has a surplus : Nam Keung, Wisma Belia. Garden int etc etc
Haha, yeah, i kno this is a very old post, anyway, the hall near my house in SS21 has 3 courts, every weekday evening it's either empty or only 1 court in use. Weekends normally have 1 court free and maybe have a wedding or 2 though. Not sure about price cuz never found anyone to go there to play with.
What court is that? Only courts near me that have 3 courts (that I know of) is SK Taman SEA and TTDI. SJK Yuk Chai has 4 I believe, DU court has 3 or 4. But now I mostly play at SK Taman SEA because my coach let us play there free..
hey i got another court that is cheaper.. its just cost u RM 8/ hour.. but must play at least 2 hour.. that court is in Ulu Yam Bharu, Hulu Selangor, Selangor.. do u play badminton seriously or just for play?? can we play together one day?? u find ur partner,, we play double.. can??
That's rather far.. besides I think you don't know this but I'm only 13 years old. My parents would never allow me to play with internet people.. sorry. What does seriously mean? I represent my school.. I train twice a week. Is that serious?
hello.. ohh.. you are 13 .. i thought are about 18 - 25.. it's ok.. at least you train twice in a week.. like me,, dont have any training.. just in school holiday we play..
I think you misread that thread, she wasn't going to play with them, she just wanted to know where the hall was so she could check where it was in her own time. As for her being 13, well she's been claiming to be around that age (allowing for a birthday) as long as she's been here and I believe her. Read posts carefully before jumping to conclusions.
No problem But I don't see that post around.. besides the quote. Tomorrow I'll be going for the Badminton Clinic held by Help Institute in Megah. Found out about it today, got the form and am going tomorrow. Yes, very last minute Hehe.
All the best. Dont forget to bring you camera there. Wong CH will be around. I might drop by during the trainning sessions.
Well, if it's the same thing with last year, they'll just be teaching us the basics. Then again, last year I was late for it as the prefect teacher didn't let me out of the Prefect Anual General Meeting. I remember how mad I was by the time it was over. Lol! Last year I remember there were so few girls so a coach grouped us all together and started teaching us footwork. Most of the girls didn't even know how to serve properly you see, they didn't train before. I remembered how amazed he was when he saw my friend and I could actually DO the footwork! Anyway, that gives me something to look forward to. Hopefully I'll enjoy myself, hoping to get some free time to play. Mr. Ong actually asked my friend and I to attend one of his group lessons tomorrow but as this Badminton Clinic is once a year.. and we got a free T-Shirt last year (Kiasu? YES).
since you are discussing this badminton clinic, I might as well post the link here. The HELP institute will be going to various states for the clinic. I'm not sure whether this is the appropriate place for posting this. Anyway...here it is: http://www.help.edu.my/news/events/87_badminton.php
You asked too late wubuseah. Yes, I believe it was possible. Just take a form, fill it up hand it up and join the clinic. The clinic was pretty much as I expected.. just like a normal coaching lesson in Megah. At least my coach remembered I used to train there and put me in the more.. 'advance' group? I invited a friend and he's quite good, but they don't know him so he got put in the group where they just taught you lobbing and net. Hehe. Wanted to go for Mr. Ong's group training after that but my friend didn't want to.. Oh well. And they didn't give a free shirt! One negative thing about Megah is that the lights are too low.. lost many good shuttles due to that.
hello.. hi joanne.. so u went to badminton clinic.. they use english language or malay language?? i am asking because my english not pretty well.. is there malay people?? give me some info about it ok.. and what they teach who are there.. INFO PLZ..
They spoke English there, but I believe if you asked the coaches to speak to you in Malay they would. Malay kids there? Pasti ada . At least in that clinic only. What info do you want? About..? The Clinic? That was ancient history.. Hehe. Looking forward to the Badminton Tournament coming up now.
Mmm.. hello.. what tournament is coming up?? i mean info about the clinic is about the price, the coaches, the people that come, the tactics they teach, and any more u know about it.. plzz tell me..
