The thing is this is permanent. On your skin. It goes where ever you go, whether you like it or not...
I would love to see this happen!!! This will definitely make badminton more popular than beach volleyball.
Something like win on adversities. I read it somewhere on the website. Shoud be face of adversity as rightly pointed out by rayeraye.
He he he, we shall see.... .....and both have never won the Olympics Gold, tomorrow we shall settle that! I hear you, cooler..... can you relay that message to XXF and ZN for their gold medal match....
cai yun's tattoo says "face of adversity". i saw an article about this in one of the chinese news website.
One thing I don't like about western ladies is that a lot of them do have permanent tattos... they think it is cool, and even 300lbs people would have them, too. To make matters worse, they probably got it when they were 150lbs, then they gained another 150 down the road, and the surface area of the tatoo expands twice its original size.
heres the chinese article about cy's tattoo: http://www.china.com.cn/sport/zhuanti/2008ay/txt/2008-08/13/content_16208800.htm http://www.china.com.cn/sport/zhuanti/2008ay/2008-08/15/content_16227263.htm
Watched the second set of the Maria Kristin vs Zhang Ning match. Maria was able to keep pace with Zhang Ning till 14-13, when Zhang Ning won 6 straight pts to make it 19-14. It's all over. Agreed with most here that Zhang Ning refused to be drawn into a long-rally with Maria, while Maria did not really have any other game plan. Overall, it was a courageous performance by Maria Kristin and let's see what she can do against Lu Lan in the Bronze Medal playoff tomorrow. In the MD, the highlight of the match was the service-judge, who faulted the Chinese players many times (esp in the first set). Once crucial call was at 20-17, with Cai Yun serving. When the fault was called, Cai Yun simply collapsed to the ground in disbelief, before the hoo-haa started. Li Yongbo even went to approach the umpire That incident disrupted play for a few minuts and the Korean pair managed to level the score at 20-20 right after it. But, the Chinese pair wanted to win this one so much and an out-of-court shot by Lee Jae Jin ended the first set, 22-20 to Cai/Fu. The second set was a walkover as the Chinese pair was simply too-hot to handle! It was a rout for them as Cai Yun/Fu Haifeng marched to the Final, facing Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan. It will be a mouth-watering spectacle and Hendra will need to play at his best from the start of the match, neutralizing Cai Yun at the net, while Kido needs to score pts from his deadly attacks (so does Fu Haifeng). The last time the 2 pairs met, it was no contest as the INA pair won easily in 2 sets. I hope the INA pair achieves the same result tomorrow and win the Gold Medal for Indonesia!!!
thanks for the link. interesting that when someone asked Cai to show it, he says, "i will show it if i win again." so today's action was pre-mediated, not spontaneous.
It must be KOR becaus China is stronger than KOR....... INA should want to fight with KOR in order that INA can be easier to get the gold......
Are you clothes any similar with this guy's T-shirt? http://www.metro.co.uk/news/article....&in_page_id=34
