BCL too rushed. 4 rallies lost in a roll. stay patient.

Well, if they can't keep the pressure out of their mind, they will end up losing (like Jung/Lee or Yang/Zhang). They should play with a "nothing to lose" attitude...ala Maria Kristin.

Lee Yong Dae needs a better parter than Jung Jae Sung (who is aging and will turn 26 this year). Cho Gun Woo (Lee's partner when they claimed the Asian and World Juniors title) would be a more suitable one.

One consolation is that Kido/Hendra are only 24 this year and if they are not successful this year, they should have another shot at it in London 2012.

It seems that those players who won the most titles this year (Tine Rasmussen with 3 titles this year, Jung Jae Sung/Lee Yong Dae with 3 titles, Yang Wei/Zhang Jiewen with 4 titles) got bundled out very early.

another theory is that their performance has peaked too early. everyone go through cycles of up and down in performance. if they peak early then will be going through down cycle in the Olympics.

I think Jung/Lee were "not wise" in terms of not competing in the last 3 tournaments before the Olympics. At least the Chinese were out there in the Thailand Open 2008 and the titles there are certainly morale booster.

Damn it! I stayed up till 3.30 am and then fell asleep on the couch right before the 2 danish mens double matches:eek: were about to begin. Great to follow it from here tho and can see that Jens/Martin didnt stand a chance. Was predicted however.

Very nice to see Lars/Jonas pulling it trough and defeating one of the biggest favourites for the title. That will lead them to a tricky quarter final against the poles where they are clear favourites. However they have had trouble with the poles before so that match is far from a secure win. Anyway its nice with some danish success on top of our goodbye to Tine and KJ yesterday:).

I hope the theory is right. After losing in Ina SS XD final, Nova said that he was not disappointed at all. He said he did not want to reach the peak before the OG. Hope he prove his word.

Fully agree on this. We can prepare and train as hard as we could, but nothing beats the overall gain when we compete in a tournament.
