Who the heck are you man?! why are you so naif..so narrow minded and full of denials. you know what, doesn't matter. Time will tell and Truth will reveal. End of convo!
If NHS knew BWF falsifying the results of the 7 players or manipulate or sabotage it, the whole tournament might be cancelled.( as its supposed to be )
yeah if im JPN players i will be scared to go to the court where 7 positives roam freely yesterday. I think BWF is creating massive genocide to allower these players and officials be on the court (these 7 positives), we dont know how many people they have spread it to. No way they have done the retests within 12 hours and there is no proof that is negative. (The first tests took 3 days to come back). by right these 7 and their whole team should be in isolation while waiting for repeat tests (3 days). i think bwf should postone the tournament or cancel it altogether now. Take responsibility.
never expect consistent policies from gov't. never expect logical policies from bwf. only a true bubble will work, however bwf & the nat'l associations cannot afford it because... the poor running of ibf/bwf during the past 50 years has led to this situation. during that time they have failed to monetize the sport in the same manner as other professional sports. 50 years ago in 1971 ALL the other major sports (yes, ALL of them) had no money either. hell, the athletes were living in the same working class neighborhoods as the majority of the population. so what happened? err... more like what didn't happen. everything that other governing bodies did to progress their sports was ignored by ibf/bwf, and continues to be ignored. i have not seen anything that would lead me to believe they are willing to learn, or are capable of learning, from the other sports. in 50 years: nfl: nothing to billions college football: same nba: same college basketball: same mlb: same nhl: same futbol: same golf: same tennis: same cricket: same boxing: same auto racing: same mma: same... in 25 years. all of the above can afford proper bubbles. badminton cannot. badminton has a fan base of at least 300 million and bwf hasn't been able to monetize that somehow?
Yeah how the hell in the world the 7 positives can play in the tournaments and taking into account their national team while INA team who are all negatives are not allowed to play! bwf cant change NHS but they knew what they were doing with the 7 cases. They should take responsibility by cancelling the tournament. They are putting risks to all the players that are involved.
The SXFI still makes the commentators sound like they are in a bit empty room, thought whoever does the sound would've learned from this after Thailand.
all the arguments are well and good but we can do without the accusations of racism and bias. No matter how much you scream and yell.. it will all remain anecdotal and speculative. Please lets keep our arguments to BWF bashing and disapproval only
only good with headphones i wish there were an option to turn it on/off depending on what type of sounds system the viewer is using
Btw.. watched newcomer Kiko Watanabe play this morning (against Victor). My jaw dropped. A new star is born? Watch out world....

When a player in football team getd covid , the whole team doesnt go into isolation. Thats even closer contact.
Nothing that INA team can do rather than must obey the local goverment rules for this unfortunate circumstances and forget All England 2021. Several INA players even have cleared opening test, what a shocking and disappointing news coming from NHS Trace and Tracking service. Back to All England competition, men's singles top-two seed have tough times to overcome their first hurdle. The comeback Kento Momota looks shaky, slower than his usual form, doing many elementary mistakes and unable to maintain his healthy lead. Interesting part arrived in second game when Kashyap Parupalli did great job to catch up from behind, 3-11 even forcing deuce, luckily the World Champion stayed calm and regains his focus in this crucial stage. The Indian display excellent tight net shots that surprised Momota several times. Later on in TV Court, the resilient JPN #4 Koki Watanabe made defending champion Viktor Axelsen run for his money, squeezed into three games and close battle that ended at 21-19. Meanwhile eighth seed Srikanth Kidambi continues slump performance, lost to Irish promoted player Nhat Nguyen. In women's doubles, the on-fire Malaysian youngsters Pearly Tan/Thinaah exploit their potential to stun more experienced Thailand pair Kititharakul/Prajongjai, 21-17 / 23-21. The remaining of mixed doubles first round matches will be played today (09.00am). The Indonesian team were tested negative days ago. All of them were also vaccined twice back in Indonesia. The WS Neslihan Yigit was aboard the same flight as the Indonesian team yet she wasnt called to quarantine. The NHS test and trace system is a complete joke. Sent from my Redmi 8 using Tapatalk
One of two things is true 1. UK is a bad host and cant do s**t preparing a tournament 2. UK wanted to win so bad by all means necessary Im leaning towards the latter. Sad day for badminton. This is not how you want to win at sport.
sounds really good for me thru headphones & on my basic left/right stereo system. not good thru laptop speakers, as expected.
