Oh boy, he really dominated Momota today. Interestingly, Momota seems to have a lot of problems reading Christie's game. He was almost always late to the shots and always playing catch-up. What worked well for Christie were the flat flicks from the net to the backcourt. Also the cross-drives on defense, although he missed a lot of them.
Can beat Momota and Victor back-to-back but flamed out against CL. So sad Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Already one of his best weeks in a while and still showing significant improvements... so not too bad. He and Ginting are going to give the top 10 MS players some challenge leading up to Tokyo 2020. Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
i have a little concern with christie and ginting in BWC.it seems they are nurturing a niggle injury, not in their normal physical condition.ginting wearing bandage in his left knee, while cristie stated an injury on his left knee Not to find some excuse but is it visible that their performance nowhere near their optimum abilities
A 21-17 21-12 defeat to a washed up Chen Long who is on his way down. Hope Indonesian fans would ask some hard questions at the Airport.
That seems putting down the dragon. CL is still top class and almost beat Momota in CO. Good results for Jo & Ginting overall.
That was a fresh as morning sunflower Chen Long at CO. This was a Chen Long on reserved petrol at FO. Jojo needs some dressing down from the coaches.
Because CL has more quality and mentality than JC..& JC played longer match this tournament. so last week dont really matter. JC got to Final because VA is quarter injured anyway (even though that 11 points are not easy after i watched it). Injury wasnt as bad as AG injury in AG.
hello, i'm curious with your opinion about jojo playing style he's quite different with ASG's playing style what do you though about jojo's??what the positives and the negatives
Jo has no really special style, in my opinion. When he won Asian Games, I think it is because of his stamina and injury free compare to other players. The problem in the past few months, he is not that injury free.
He plays like a defensive style retritving player, like a Du Pengyu or Tien Minh, only with smooth footwork like Lee Hyun-Il. He plays a kinda passive game though, altough with him being as stable as he is it often works. During Chen Long's match though it felt like he played the dropshot far too often, simply because he didn't have another good enough attacking shot in his repetoire, and thus he hit it into the net a bit as well. You know he can play better attacking than that though. Well, while Anders Antonsen does not have Chen Long's defense, you can just watch to see how dismantled he was with a barrage of constant body smashes and follow-ups in the Japan Open(I think) a bit back. Where Jonathan really just steamrolled him, if my memory serves correctly. Also better at the net, I think. If he just either became a bit better offensively, or played more aggresively and really used his quickness in a way his compatriot is doing, I think he could be really good. But he's young and I guess there is no reason why he should NOT improve.
Im impressed with his performance in Thomas cup, hopefully his confidence will gain a boost from this.
