I know but you can't do that for each mistakes. Just tap it out and move your focus to the next point. Yes they are still young though.
Arisa has that somewhat exuberant character which I really like and I wouldn't pick on that to assume it causes her to lose focus on her game. She's just that expressive about her performance and at least she realizes her errors each time that hopefully she would avoid committing next time. Sent from my JSN-L22 using Tapatalk
More like one of the problems for this pair. Yuta poses minimal threat from the back. He's actually better off being at the front with Arisa at the back. Feels like they have similar smash rate....unless their plan is to play doubles and not mixed double.
Yuta ends this year's season with 3 titles out of 6 finals. He has always done the double duty. While some may doubt his ability to do double duties, I think he has done greatly. He reaches the top 8 in MD and top 3 in XD. It is not easy to achieve that while doing double duty. His main expertise is in XD with Arisa. Let's see how well they perform in the next year.
The two Chinese pairs are playing a very very high standard of mixed doubles. It will be tough to get close to them. I feel HK Open victory for Yuta and Yurisa where they played well caught Wang and Huang on a bad day.
So far I think the THA pair is the closest one to manage in posing a threat to the CHN pairs despite them having lower ranking than Wata/Higa and winning less significant titles, to be honest. They had defeated Wang/Huang a few times and often forced rubber sets against Zheng/Huang. I feel that Watanabe's strongest point is his physical resilient more than anything. While everyone else is slowing down and out of breath, he is like an energized rabbit running and jumping all over the court without showing any sign of fatigue. Unbelievable yet amazing stamina.
Watanabe is going to have a make a very tough decision come qualification year for Olympics... whether XD or MD. No way he can do well if he does both. Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
I personally hope he does XDs comes then JP probably won't have any pairs unless a new pair rises up this year. But then again, it's a tough choice. Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk
If Japan has no other pair inside top 8, then Watanabe clearly has a double duty. It's not about doing double duty which makes him not so good in 1 category. It's their true "quality" that makes a difference and his stamina to do a double duty is nothing to worry about. I say, "It won't give any better outcome even if he choose just 1 category."
Arisa Higashino and Liliyana Natsir at Istora Senayan, Jakarta (after Indonesia Masters Semifinal match).
I know, I know, but I just choose a player's name I cannot say: this is Kevin/Kim/Taufik style or someone else's style, it's too long ^-^. I choose Kevin because he is not too height, he looks like the same height with Arisa (Kevin 170 cm and Arisa 160 cm), and they also tend to play so fast in front the net.
What's important now is these wonder pair are already in the finals. Somehow I feel that it's gonna be quite a repeat of last year's, with wata/arisa vs siwei/yaquiong. But my money's still with Japan. Sent from my JSN-L22 using Tapatalk
