Not even close :D ZYL was also a great WD player, Natsir....not so much. Too much work involved in that :D great anticipation and eye for the court, but not a good athlete, and the achievements are far fewer than ZYL's

I think I saw Yuki Kaneko hand was trembling during service close up just now.

Not even close is nonsense imo.. Zhao yunlei maybe better.. But it is close in terms of achievements. Playing in 1 or 2 discipline depends on the coaches. Generally Indonesian doubles only play in 1 discipline...

No answers to the Indonesians' tactical, placement-heavy style. The Chinese played fast, they can do that too, but as I said, give them well-placed slow shots and they start to struggle, having little to no pace to feed off of. One of the reasons I miss the ZN/ZYL XD pairing, they also focused on placement more than just pace, and were better athletes than the Indonesians as a bonus. Current Chinese XD seems a bit weak tactically, relying on speed too much.

If you only look at XD, yes, it's somewhat close. If you take everything into account, it's not. What the hell has Natsir done in WD?

The best MD matches in this tournament were in QF : Marcus/Kevin vs duo Mads and Liu/Zhang vs Alfian/Ardianto

Both higher ranked tournaments (MAS/INA Open) have at least 3/5 or 4/5 underwhelming matches.
Top players and pairs seems out of touch and I am disappointed with the matches quality, aside a selected few.
Really underwhelming for so called top World Tour tournaments. Hoping for a better matches next few tournaments.

Like I said.. She didn't play WD is coach choice.. It's hard to compare. Chill bro.. Zhao yunlei is good..I am just saying natsir deserve a recognition and the term not even close is demeaning... But you are entitled to your opinion
