Team Indonesia opting for Firman once again instead of Ihsan. Hmm...

But her foot wasn't on the line. Was it because she moved her foot slightly after serving?? So hard to tell

Looking at d H2H record, China's MS department has an upper hand over INA

    MS1, Shi YQ v Christie (H-2-H : 2-2)
    MD1, He JT/Tan Q v Ahsan/Pratama (0-0)
    MS2, Qiao B v Ginting (1-0)
    MD2, Han CK/Zhou HD v Saputro/Setiawan (0-0)
    MS3, Zhao JP v Kholik (1-0)

Indonesia is clear favourite to defend Asian Men's Team title against China second layer. Ginting serves second singles after absent yesterday and Kholik once again is trusted to paly third singles, thanks to his heroic feat to save INA team from defeat to KOR. First singles match should be interesting to watch, both Shi Yuqi and Jonatan Christie are regarded as promising stars from two badminton powerhouses, their rivalry even started from junior stages. Christie has superb action along this tournament to beat Srikanth Kidambi, Kenta Nishimoto and Son Wan Ho while Shi YQ suffered mental block when faced Srikanth at quarterfinal.

I would not say ina is clear favorite. They have advantage on doubles . But not on singles. Maybe a slight advantage? Still 50 50 imo

It would be disaster if INA couldn't steal one point through singles discipline.

The fact that a player like HBJ is still on the CHN A team shows just how far the mighty have fallen...

After coaching the likes of LD/CL, XXZ must be shaking his head inside asking how it’s come to this...

China's women teams was erstwhile invincible.

Now they can't even win one match in a continental championship final.

    sad

Error-proned, lack of agility, poor fitness level that's He Bingjiao problem, contributes her defeat to Okuhara and 3-0 for team Japan to lift the trophy, congratulations to all the medalists :)

Japan is overwhelming favourite for Uber Cup next May while China is struggling to find formidable singles players even their number one women's doubles pair are vulnerable lately.

Japan is favourite to win Uber Cup, given the depths of their players, even if China, Thailand, Taiwan sent their best team.

Maybe it's his coaching? Comes across as a total boor, that guy. Apart from that China ladies clearly are the second strongest women's singles setup and they are all very young with huge potential. Same goes for doubles. Does not look like a horrific scenario to me.
