all department heads in the Chinese squad had been recalled in the middle of a tournament.

my prediction: a major announcement is imminent.

You're a fair-weather friend to LCW, when he was being humiliated time and again recently, I don't remember seeing you commiserating with him, but once he beat an illustrious opponent, esp a CHN , you'd not hesitate to use his victory to put down his adversaries. At your age, over what and what for ?

Chen Long fresh ? Who won the China Open last week ?

Nah, I saw this improvement in China Open and expressed it to Samkool. Hong Kong was the true show of his powers.

I think he took his French Open Round 1 loss very very seriously and punished his body.

That's a powerful accusation. I don't think Chen Long is a match fixer. He doesn't cheat.

Age has nothing to do with fairness, which is international in nature and at any age.
If you are really a "Citizen of the World" you will not be so biased against non-China players and praise your China idols sky-high and try to justify their loss at every opportunity.

    Whatever for?

No. I don't believe it either. Only a joke which was prevalent in LYB days.

Well CL and LCW went through the whole tournament together.
A younger man should recover faster in most cases.
Nevertheless, there are players who won back-to-back victories. So if CL is that good, he should beat veteran LCW.

Many feel for CL (still) not getting the attention LCW, PG, TH (& LD, etc.) got -- and don't want to admit the fact that CL is (relatively) boring to watch... you know, the usual "but he has so many titles", "but he has such good manners", etc.; basically getting angry at badminton for being a spectator sports.

E.g. Peter Gade isn't a world champion either (like LCW) and is at least as "gentlemenly" in badminton as CL is -- but as a "creative player" (known for versatile/adaptive play rather than any particular shot/style), PG is still 10 times more interesting to watch than CL...

    A little more than joke.
LYB used to manipulate the results (for Olympic qualification).
    Everybody know it.
