The news on Chinese weibo is that Lu Kai/ Zheng Siwei gave a walkover because Lu is running a fever

Wonder if he will be well enough to play XD tomorrow...

HSP played a really mature game towards the end of g2 where he was trailing most of the time. Just textbook game to his advantage. Kudos
BSP on the other hand stumbled at "14" on g2 as well. Mental block? Or just fatigue from back to back tourney. I wasn't expecting him to loose, but with the current momentum he should've stretched it to the wire at least

Nope, his body smashes all hit Tommy-- it's just his sidelines smashes that were uncontrollable.

Wonder what his shot selections is going to be like tomorrow...

Yes, his body smashes all work except for sideline smashes. Since Dubai Finals v Son Wan Ho, his sidelines smash often goes out. I wonder what is the cause.

It will be Lee Chong Wei vs Prannoy H S tomorrow!

Given the uncontrollable drift and Prannoy's relative size, I predict more body smashes from Lee Chong Wei-- apologies in advance! 8^P

Can Jonathan Christie beat Hsu Jen Hao and ensure INA's survival in MS?

Unlikely. He likes smashing baseline more than body smash, as much as I want him to do so. I predict the same "throwing the shuttle around" instead of "playing net and forcing to lift" tactic

I can say the organizer is idiots.

who put their best player of the country in the first match in the morning and knowing he is injured and more likely to lose? who arranged that...i mean be smart, never ask it to be the last match..

I never see the five rounds of Lee Chongwei in Kuching played in the earliest time of the day. dumb dumb dumb. It affected the whole country performance and im not saying its bad that they have about 10 reps in the R2 (because in Kuching,Malaysia are only left with 2 reps in R2 i believe) but common sense should prevail.

Come on. Isn't they the best in the world right now? Injured or not, they couldn't get into their game. They admit it itself, that injuries isn't the excuse for losing.

Im saying it spoils the atmosphere. They should have played between 5-7pm or thereafter.

and dont think they are best in the world right now. Rankings are not important in men double. It depends on individual tournaments luck and draw as well.
Most important is to win title. you can be number 1 in the world but be runner up all the time.

Maybe because he is a tad bit slower? So what normally goes, becomes a late shot.

Yeah that actually is logical. Since he injured himself last year at Denmark Open, he seems to be slowing down.
Not to mention, yet another knee injury before All England.

I think the organisers thought Kevin/Gideon's win maybe will increase the atmosphere more but it had the opposite effect due to their lost.

I even.. agree more to taufik hidayat's comment; why do you put injured people to play? Hoping for luck? And it also destroy the atmosphere (like @Yoji said).. better to WO. Like, lucky liliana natsir's knee does not become a full blown problem.

And.. Indonesians MD have a lot injuries in the past years.. Ahsan.. gideon, kevin, and some other names.. What happened? One/2 injuries is ok, but that much?
