Would you happen to recall if FHF was using the N9 ii at the peak of his playing career? Apologies for the question as I am not familiar with the release dates of Li Ning racquets but I am curious to know FHF's preferences and his racquets during his peak.
Also on that same note, I am going to throw out a large challenge and ask for a list of Fu Hai Feng's racquets during his peak, say from 2009-2014. Fu Hai Feng's climb to his peak from 2004+
Yonex Ti10-BJ olympica Li Ning N50 and N50ii-2009 -early 2011? Kason F9 -2011-2013 Li Ning n9 2013 ( world championship period )to early 2016 n9ii -Rio? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
FHF has used different rackets through out his playing career. If you considered his peak to be 2012 when he won the London Olympics, then it might be Lining N9 or Kason Twister F9. Hopefully someone who is more knowledgeable could answer your question.
well his peak shud be between N50ii to F9 N9 came out during 2013. He and caiyun was still using Kason during sudirman cup 2013 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
How about Setiawan's rackets in his playing days? I started playing this sports in 2013-2014 so only know he used NR900 and now N9II.
I really am not sure but i know he used Flypower when he won his Beijing Gold and then went on to partner Ahsan with yonex he was using NR800 to NR900 and NR900SE and then currently N9ii Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He used Yonex in Beijing. Everyone did not sure which racket though. At800Def maybe? I have absolutely no memory of that final, but that racket was pretty popular amongst net-oriented doubles players (LYD used it until the Victor switch as well iirc).
Kido, yes. Iirc they were still in the national team using Yonex back then and went independent after the OG I'll look it up when I get home though.
Setiawan used AT800DE in OG 08, then left the national team(Flypower era), and upon coming back and partnering with Ahsan, used the ARC7 new color (white/silver) before going to NR800, then NR900, then NR900SE, then the current N9-ii
FHF and ZN used n9ii and n7ii at Rio. And it's pretty obvious that Kason/Li-ning's x7 and x9 rackets are pure tailor-made for the n1 MD chinese pair. That's why Kason C9, Li-ning n9, n9ii are similar in specs since they were all made for FHF and n7 and n7ii specs are different since the first one was made for CY and the latter for ZN. Also, it's pretty easy to know what Li-ning pros really play with since Li-ning doesn't even care that most of them still use 1st gen rackets or not even high-ends but as everybody knows, things are not the same with Yonex... And it would make sense that what they do for singles superstars with custom/re-painted rackets would apply for doubles too. And so, Setiawan might have always played with n9ii-like rackets... Or just that his preferences just changed...
If i m not mistaken looks like n7. Notice d racquet is white and toward d cap its black.. If the cap part is not black most probably a n7ii
The thing is even in close ups, there is not a sign of black showing on the frame (both n7 and n7-ii have a little bit of black on the inside of the frame).
