I dunno... 4/4, RRI 8 - sounds a lot like the 800P at first blush. I've never had a frame collapse from tension alone, but then I take care of my rackets with regular grommet spins/changes and flipping them over between string jobs. Rotating between the three helps as well. I have seen pro rackets eaten by string, though - must be great when you don't pay for em.
Thank you for your suggestion. My OCD don't allow to ruin the look of my rackets and several restrings per month will flake the paint easy. HX800 Power is here just available as 4U and the price of 180EUR for a limited and shortly refused racket by the market is a mental border for me. I also need minimum 2 equal rackets because I play competitive and I stick to a racket pretty long. Limited means often to be dead stock quick and this is a nightmare for me. I'm not a guy who changes rackets frequent and don't like this buy, try and sell hustle. I also don't like to hunt for a racket. I prefer easy access and prefer to visit a shop instead of buying from overseas and waiting several weeks. I need to go to HKG upcoming summer, so I safe my money to paint the town red.
Got a chance to measure mine's specs. The racket feels slightly stiffer than the HX 800 Power. Balance point is 295mm and weight is 87.5g with the handle plastic wrap. It also features a more boxy frame and isometric head shape as opposed to the HX-800 Power.
Is this a racquet Canada is actually getting at a reasonable time? That would be a welcome change of pace! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
Sadly, I have no idea! All I know is that the delays we experience are no fault of Victor Canada, but more something along of Victor Taiwan having problems with planning and distribution (and probably having Canada pretty low on their priority list)
Yeah. It's just sad I don't get to use my cheaper pricing in Canada since I always end up ordering overseas anyway. Guess I shouldn't be so picky. Haha Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
It's weird, coz a guy in a shop here said the 800P would suit my game, and yet Paul Stewart said it reminded him of the AT700P which was completely unplayable for me the last time I swung one around. I have an inkling that If SWH is using the 900, then it's gunna be stiffer than anything currently in the range.
Nah. Don't buy into that idea mate. He was a guinea-pig for the regular HX800 when it released as well.
He still had the MX80 as reserve racket though. Perhaps he's using KRP version, which can be expected to be stiffer?
Yeah, they never update on new products until after its released. But my source is quite reliable heheh
I can confirm that. I can recall that the JS10 was probably the only racket in recent memory that Victor Canada got from Victor Taiwan that aligned with everywhere else in the globe. The JS12 arrived in Canada late August early September. The TK9900 (version 3.1 was the sample i held) is supposed to arrive Q1 2017.
