Tbh, I think the RRI is unfathomable - the K9900 hits WAY harder than the JS10, but the JS10 has the higher rating.
He comes from MX80, but I don't think these switches are an indicator. KSR also came from MX80 and went to 800-C and KGJ from MXJJS to JS12. I don't have much hope for the 900 beeing a younger MX80 or close to it.
Nah I don't think they are either. Just the usual guinea-pig job. KSR is on a JS12 now anyway. KGJ went from JJS to 12N then to JS10 then to the JS12. P.S. HX900 is 4/4. RRI is 8. 3U warrantied to 31lbs and 4U is 30lbs. My Mandarin is piss poor but it seems to have a new version of Nano Fortify in the shaft called Nano Fortify TR. Has got Hard Cored Technology inside too, very good news IMO since it makes a lot of difference in the feel as evident with the HX800 siblings.
@Mark A Would you go for 3U or 4U? Atm I'm happy with JS10 but when I pull my BS10 out of my bag for a double with an unknown partner or guy who is known for clashing, I wish me 2g more in the head of the JS10.
4U, 100% - my MX80 4U is close to perfect. The days of worrying about tension are long gone... we were putting 34/35 in Kim Gi-Jung's 4U JS10's last year.
Is this racket out somewhere yet ? I have one in stock and would like to know how rare it is, if at all
What do you think for how long does it work? Heard from a reliable source that some ARC11 of the danish boys go from time to time and are kissed goodbye. You also sell everything within a year for the next 3.
I played with the MX80 for a season. Now I have a seemingly permanent stress injury in my shoulder. Good times! @ucantseeme - Why don't you look at the HX800 Power if you wish your JS10 was more head heavy? Or just stick a layer of non-stretch athletic tape on the head of your JS10? Shaft could easily handle it.
I'm sorry to hear that, how's the shoulder doing now? Could you also describe to us how the injury happened so some of us could be aware?
It flares up periodically. It's only because I'm a middle aged guy with bad technique. No point in using me as a 'word of warning' because I'm not typical in any respect. Heaps of people use stiff rackets all the time with no adverse effects, but the MX80 is well known for being a 'vibey' racket. Great in the mid-court though, the thing is like a scalpel.
