To be honest and frank the way I watched LYD / YYS played yesterday I already knew it. They won't be able to win it. No. Being a great fan of LYD / YYS and never skip a match whenever they play I am not at all surprised that sometimes they just don't win it. To be honest I won't tell lies and said that I don't feel sad to see them lose in such a manner. But I also do understand that nowadays everything is just so open that any MD player can just beat any MD player on any day.

Well it is still too early to say before Olympics 2016. But however I do realize that Lee Yong Dae is no longer as sharp and accurate as he used to be. He was so nervous yesterday and made a few service errors that didn't go over the net. It is indeed disheartening to see how fast LYD has fallen. Nevertheless, being a great fan of them I won't just kept whining about their lost and be a sour grape here. Well who wouldn't want to watch the world ranked no 1 MD win in all the matches they play?

But I guess in the match yesterday, I must really congratulate Zhang Nan / Fu Haifeng for playing so well yesterday and both of them really deserved to win their game. Yes credit must be given to Zhang Nan who set up the whole rally for Fu Haifeng too.

I must say that with 2 semifinals exit in their last week tournament and also this week tournament, I certainly hope that their MD coach Lee Deuk Choon and Kang Kyung Jin will really help them to analyse what went wrong with their game and really step up the gear to help them win the Olympic gold medals.

Just my own personal opinion only.

If you want, you can use 'Pin-drop silence' instead of boos.

To be honest I am not really a great fan of Son Wan Ho either. Well credit goes to his inconsistent performance and always lose in the first and second round of the tournaments. Well who would be a great fan for players who always have early round exit?

But then I must also congratulate Son Wan Ho because off late I have seen lots of improvements from him. His never giving up attitude has won over my heart. Especially in this tournament it will be extremely sweet for him because he will be playing in his first Super Series finals tournament for this year. Well although I am not a great fan of Son Wan Ho, I must say that now he is ready to step in the shoes to fill up the duties done by the old MS player Lee Hyun Il. Korea cannot depend on Lee Hyun Il forever. So now it is certainly high time for Son Wan Ho to step up to the fray.

I believe that Son Wan Ho should be the clear favourite to win today MS match. Not that I don't appreciate the effort of Sony to reach the finals. I guess Sony should be too tired plus those grueling long 3 setter matches that he needs to play en route to the finals. Plus Son Wan Ho is fit free of injuries compared to the injured Sony.

Well this is just my personal predictions and I may be wrong too.

Sun Yu has to play in China Masters next week and Badminton Asia Championship the week after.

She has a good draw in China Masters, but not so good at Badminton Asia Championship.

She will win over Sung Ji Hyun in the BAC. Sung Ji Hyun is down with injuries so I think she should have no problem to win.

The first match had started - the old airport road BC GTG crew predict a straight games victory for the lady in black.

we were just watching the RI vs. Akane match, and what a difference Sun Yu. For Akane, everything is running, for Sun Yu, everything is just one step!

Sun Yu , make good use of your height, watch out for IR's net play, and seize the initiative more.

all Sun Yu seems to do is to feed RI's backhand until someone makes an error

Instead of trying to keep IR at the back, bring her forward, challenge her at the net, force her to lift and go for the attack.

It seems that at/mm have got themselves a walkover...courtesy bwf tournament software. Can anyone verify this?
