Feels like it to me. That is one of the reasons why they brought back the BS12 Blue, not only for design reasons.
Because it is an outdated product. It is still in retail but i guess it is not part of the present marketing program, it is rather a feature than an actual product Victor sells to please the community.
Someone can compare the BS12 blue with the Kason F9 in term of stiffness and quickness Many thanks ::
afaik the BS12 is considerably heavier. F9 is said to be somewhat even balanced with BP around 295. BS12 is one of the fastest rackets ever created, the F9 cannot compare to that. The F9 is a little more HH but I'd take the BS12 over the F9 any day.
Kintenka thank you , I no longer used my F9 for three months. I play with my ZF2 4U ( love it so much) but my arm is starting to not be happy. :crying: I hesitate a lot between BS12 and JS10 ...mainly for double
Theres no racket under the sun that combines _considerably_ heavier and faster. It's just physically impossible. There's some slight variance due to frame shape, but that only applies to high speed movements with a forward-facing racket (basically only smashes/clears), and even then it's not much. [I'm talking about the product of weight and balance point btw, which is the weight you feel when moving the racket, not just plain weight.] A racket with high weight, but low BP can be quick, but will for all intents and purposes perform identically to a lower weight/higher BP racket. The Bs12 actually has quite a low BP compared to other rackets, and compared to a racket with the same weight and BP, it's really not phenomenally fast.
Read all posts...I think it was Marc who mentioned Ko brought in ONE 4u racket for stringing, and not a Bs12. I really really doubt he uses a 4u one, probably sth in the high 3u or even 2u range. I mean....look at him. He's so much stronger than Yoo and smashes so much harder, would be weird if he used an almost 10g lighter racket, wouldnt it?
I'm surprised to read that. Whilst I haven't tried any BS myself, I read several posts about the Brave Sword frame being the fastest ever and so on...
A lot of hype. The frame us faster than others, yeah, but its a combination of factors that makes ppl think its so much faster....first of all, the advertising and "scienctific" explanation. Then there's the reviews (which already affected you), and lastly - that sound when you swing it. It really has a huge influence, similar to the sound your strings make (where a more satisfying sound will lead you to believe that you hit the shuttle harder). Lastly, no one ever bothers to measure out their rackets accurately in order to compare apples to apples, which is why -as far as I'm aware- no one has compared the Bs12 to a racket with just the same weight/BP. And with reviewers being influenced by the sound of that racket as well (it does indeed 'feel' faster), they often exaggerate its speed.
