Really enjoyed my first outing with Hypernano 800. It's a bit heavier than I'm used to these days but I soon got used to it. this is a 3U G5 version and I'll be reviewing it within the next two weeks.

    Hi Paul,

would be great if you can fit in your review a comparison with the JS10 and the MX90. I am a Meteor X user and wonder how this compares...

    thx

Tried the Hypernano 600 the other day in the store...feels very stiff despite its medium stiffness.

Of the 2 high end HX rackets I'd say the 600 is the gem of the 2.

Previously with a short session, I'd had praise the racket of it versatility because it is fairy easy to use.
I start to understand why people said this racket feels weird. Had another 2 hours session with this; mine is commercial 3UG5.

I have the feeling that if I didn't hit the proper sweet spot, the shuttlecock actually slips off or bounces of the string bed like nobody's business, it occurs too when im driving the shuttle, it just doesn't go. When that happens, it feels like the racket has a hollow and numb feeling.

I am not talking about misshit. It doesn't happened when I use other rackets.

    Surely not-sweetspot = misshit. Confused.

The pros use 4ug5 not 3ug5. Maybe 3ug5 suck I tried it don't like it. 4ug5 super fast yet with good control is like zspeed but with better feel.

I use the 3U version and t's really good. In fact I find that I prefer it to Jetspeed 10. There is a different feel to this racket and you need to persevere. However, it does work out really well when you adapt to it.

I think I get what you mean. When I first used it, the hybrid frame really threw me off and power just wasn't there. Net shots and soft touches were a beauty though. It was like the first half of the frame was speeding forward while the bottom half was getting dragged along. This is also due to the head weight distribution though. But I've also put on some electric tape to remedy it.

I guess 4u better for double and 3u for single.

How about maybe you just can't handle the 3U and won't admit it

"Different feel" translates to numb, muted, or harsh?

Ok, then that could be easily adapted by recalibrating your hand sensory receptors.

But it wouldn't have saved my shoulder in any form. 3U JS10 kicks then to the kerb IMO anyway
