    .... and he won (again) vs Liew Darren. The SAME PLAYER whom beat Liew Darren in TC final. Can he just retire? :rolleyes:

    Porntip's downturn of late surprises me. I like her playing style. Hope she recovers her form gradually if not soon.

    TTY avenged her previous defeat on Akane who so far played her best badminton against LXR and IR the last couple of weeks. Indeed, it's always easier to play without burden as an underdog. Good for TTY to shake off the baggage of JPN Open. TTY is talented but she really got to work on her consistency if she is to go far.

    Brice Leverdez is getting better step by step.

    Fuchs/Michels continue to march forward, this time scalping last week's INA Open champ Fischer/Pedersen.

    Darren Liew after a flying start lost steam and the match to Takuma Ueda who beat him and denied MAS the TC in the end. Lack of finishing power from DL.
