IND needs a winning to keep their QF chance alive, will they make it? MAS had good start yesterday to defeat host IND 4-1, will they take clean sheet 5-0 to overcome GER? Some faves in TUC still have no problem in day-2 tournament. INA Thomas Cup starts their campaign today against SIN, on paper 5-0 for the top-seed.
It's nice and helpful to have a new thread for each day of the Group Stage and the subsequent ones. Thanks CLELY for initiating the post.
You're welcome, I decide to create one thread per day because TUC is BWF major event First session is already started, both top-seed for Thomas & Uber Cup are playing now...
Wow! There's a new feature showing the shuttlecock hitting to which court and lands at which courts..
TUC über alles !? Definitely! The Thomas Cup & Uber Cup are the very very major events of BWF (while I try to avoid the word of superlative, which may be arguable ), more substantial than those individual tournaments ("blatantly" commercial-driven) incl. the 5-star PSS.
Wow, so far the Nigerians are not giving their matches up easily. They are giving a tough fight against the Thais!
Contrary with yesterday condition, TPE Uber team leads 2-0 so far through their WS Tai TY & Lee CH...Just wondering, why they didn't field Tai TY against ENG team?!
Reigning World Champion Ahsan/Setiawan brings INA leads 2-0 after Tommy was forced to play rubber games by SIN MS Derek Wong ZL in first match.
Players line-up of second session matches have been released...Danish young WS will try to get good start against Malaysian squad this afternoon. Who will accompany Japan Uber team to secure QF ticket in group Z?

sis, someone told me that Tai is injured. But I don't know it is true or not. If she's injured why she can play today? I think the problem is with Pai Hsiao Ma, she lost a point which she shouldn't. Either she was injured or she was out of form. You see, for today's match against Russia, they rather field Lee Chia Hsin as the 2nd WS. Lee is still a junior under 19 years who competed in the WJC last month. Why PHM is not in the formation today tells the truth actually.
According to TTY in her facebook; she is injured. Anyone watch her match today? Did she play well, any hints of her movement/injury?
Chinese Taipei fills an injured TTY, LCH and PYB rather than PHM, I believe something might have wrong with PHM.
Agree, Pai HM failed to fulfill her task to grab opening point, that's the key factor for ENG victory yesterday. They have wasted chance to collect crucial winning as impossible mission for TPE Uber team to defeat mighty CHN on Wednesday.
But, even with yesterday's formation I was confident that Chinese Taipei could beat England. I was also underestimated England as what their coach did. I never expect the US Open Champion to lose to an unknown player, and also never expected they lost their two WDs. PHM is now another David Bechkham. Haha
