Normally I don'y enjoy or follow livescore much, preferring to check occasionally or wait for the final outcome but this time the IR vs AY is gripping me !...
There it is!!!! Similar to Sindhu who won olympic champion fresh from london, akane has emerged from nowhere to say the whole world that she can do that..
Incredible, almost unimaginable, the reigning WC unceremoniously bundled out by the reigning WJC in R1 of a SSP tourney !!!
Don't know if Akane won due to IR's match fatigue or not. It would get clear tomorrow, when akane would play against her compatriot Mitani.
seriously, Akane needs more experience. Even if she lost to RI today, I still think it's a good learning path for her.
