My 2 sens after seeing LD's performance.. (i didn't watch the LD vs. LCW's match, only caught a few minutes of it on the cctv in the stadium, but heard and followed the score on and off).. ..when i heard the crowd was silenced for most of the 1st game, i knew LCW was in big trouble.. ..when i heard the crowd was silenced for most of the 2nd game, i knew LD is on a mission to bring the TC back.. ..after i read LD did a Moonwalk dance after his win over LCW, i knew BC and a few BCers will be hot on his trail for trying to showboat etc. ..after i saw LD toyed TH, in the TC Final, i knew it was time for TH to start playing more in the U.S. Open type tourney.. In essence, LD came prepared and solely focused for this TC. Didn't he and LYB mention not too long back that their focus for this yr was and is the TC and the Asian Games?..I won't be surprised if LD were not to win the WC or any tourneys in between until the AG, at the end of this yr..
I concur. Having 3 WC titles already, it's a matter of whether he wants more or not. Goodness gracious, this chap could grasp or let loose any tourney at will. However, i.m.o, being selective gives him an unfair advantage (physically and mentally) over the others and makes him a poor ambassador of the game.
I agree that lindan was a God against LCW. He read and studied CWs game perfectly. But against other players he is just lindan.
yes, i told Ants that, i like the shirt pattern mainly, not because of the name on the back I would wear it too, hate to see that shirt get buried in a drawer and never see daylight
One could argue that he is. Certainly LCW gives it 100% in every tournament he enters (and he enters alot!). I have also read that LCW was guilty of over-training in the past - just working his body too hard to the point of breaking down his body and immune system, because of his obsession to be the best, and his belief that only hard work is the way to achieve that. It really is all about persistently trying one's best, even if that does not always result in victory. In the tennis world, many admire Nadal not because of his pure talent (leave that to Federer) but because of Nadal's "never give up" attitude, despite all the injuries and wear and tear he has suffered over the years. BTW, I too love that shirt. Not just because of the patterns, but also the colour scheme! Are these shirts still available for purchase on websites?
yes, i have said starting 2 years ago that lcw is over trained in the wrong area. Can hear his creaky knees in over here ya, by pattern i also meant the color scheme. U have to take a number and line up after me
Nice shirt !! The Lining one for this Tcup was quite ugly I think.... The best looking one was the Malaysian, made by yy
Actually, IMO that it is one of the best YY shirts ever released, despite making the person wearing it look like a bumblebee!
Compare him with LD, I would definitely say yes! I hope you understand the purpose of being an ambassador.
T-Maker, Also take note of this misinterpreted version of yours "I makes him a poor ambassador". Hope that's a typing error otherwise I'm in deep trouble.
In fact i have alot that is collecting dust already. Since you mentioned it.. i will just have them washed and wear them myself again. HEhehe... Or probably.. in the next gathering... i will put it for lucky draw.
obviously it was a fake one lol at the 1st place joke must be funny if not thats not define as joke lol
