Most likeley they will release new arcsabers , and it perhaps could be the arc 12. Because it is their latest series , I think they will definitley want to put a couple more arcssabers after the slash. But you never now until the racket has been released .
Based on the information I have, Yonex have been using resin infused buckyballs, and Mizuno used Resin infused nano-tubes. Also Mizuno on top of this has woven the fibers in a tertra-axial woven pattern to get direcional elasticisy and modulus for increased control and power..whiich is a really nice technological idea.. There are rumors that other racket makers are working on similar stuff.. My bet is that Yonex is trying to improve the graphite material in the Z.... Cheers, Twobeer
This will be my last post on the ARC-Z till it actually release. In Japanese Amine world, Z is always the most powerful and the end all weapon. Just like the Gundam Z. It is usually in Gold (or gold is the major color) and I will not tell you if it is flashy and shinning or not. I had a suggestion to the Evil Empire's marketing and ask why not use X for 10 and VII for 7. This is to lead to the point of Z in the future. Oh well, the Z is coming.
the whole new range of yonex from clothing to bags have gold in it i would be surprised if the racket didnt
Sorry for sounding impatient but how long till the review and also how long till it is realeased If anyone has any ideas ? Even though I don't think I can afford it after buying a nanospeed 9900
Sorry guys for the delay. Didnt manage to finish the review yet. String broke during the 1st tryout. Dont have time to have it strung. The other sample was unstrung. ... wait for a while more after i have it restrung again. Smash is too good.. no wonder the string broke. Once u smash you dont want to stop.. literally. Man oh man.. this is good. The racket will be officially release in September.
ants, any inside info whether LCW will be switching to this racquet? are you also reviewing the Cab35?
Not reviewing the Cab35. Really dont have the time to do so. I'm not sure if LCW is switching to it anytime. He has not receive the racket yet from Japan. Most likely the players will officially be able to try it out in September during Japan Open. But i would probably be bringing it to the training court for them to try once i have it strung. Will see if i'm able to do so before they depart to India for WC.
Not involving their best "advisory staff" players testing their rackets before release seems über stupid ... Remember Li Ning made something like 3000 prototypes for the national team to test. And If it is a major improvement, it really would make sense to introduce it to sponsored players before WC, to give them that extra "edge"... Or maybe they lack confidence and think LD will clinch the title anyway? and therefore would not want to have a "loosing" record for the spanking new racket, marketing wise?!?! hmm.. I guess its friday and I am open for Conspiracy theories, ha ha.. Anyway I am sure it will be a good racket, and I am sure I will buy it initially, if it has some new tech in it) as I am always curious /T
IMO, Yonex will not use ultra high quality carbon. Instead, they are pron to using supplementary materials and structure design to strengthen the racket. This pattern can be observed through Ti mesh , ultimaTi , gum metal , and fulleren. In view of profitablilty and cost, this pattern provides the base for sustainable operation of a firm while they can make the rackets as good or even much better than others'.
IMHO, i just hoping that there will be a combination of X-fullerene, Ultra PEF, Cup-stack carbon nanotube and Elastic ti in the racket!!
Carbon nanotube and Elastic ti in Yonex racquets both have the same purpose, to make the frame flex more, and faster. IMO, from what I've seen (AT900, NS9000 vs ARC7 and ARC10), Cup stack nanotubes are flexier, and the Elastic ti is more stiff. I dont' really understand what ultra pef is for, nor the x-fullerene....haha
