does this year they will enable online ticketing? Actually I am a little bit tired of waiting every early morning in front of the ticket counter with sometimes I don't event know what time they gonna open the counter because the uncertain information. But I don't have a choice :crying: I love indonesia open :crying::crying: do they even thinking about online ticket? I hope they will consider it.
Don't think so about online-ticket facility, even big event like TUC 2008 the organizer didn't provide it I guess for this year edition, it will be the same --> No official website, no online ticket, only LIVE-SCORE at ts.com
This is one of the things PBSI and the organizers will have to improve, in order for INA SS to gain acceptance as one of the Elite SS tournaments. Hopefully this will happen.
exactly ... this is what happened every year some of us even watch the game outside Istora, all tickets are sold out
yeah, I mean really, early early in the morning... I tried to come by last year at 7am for semifinal game... almost hundreds ppl were queuing already! and if I'm not mistaken, the ticket stall would open at 9 or 10am... decided to go home rather than experienced 3hrs standing in Jakarta's heat. so I'm thinking to hire someone to get me tickets this year...LOL
just wait for 3 hours..bring floormat, snacks, drinks, books, and umbrella (s).. you'll get that person...they called 'Calo'
no, not those insane calo , they doubled, sometimes tripled the ticket price I'll hire someone to queue and get me tickets in normal price...
Do they provide the VIP seats and Regular seats in the stadium ? And how much will the price of ticket be ? I am from Bangkok, and this will be my first time to visit Jakarta.
I have one more question. I will stay at The Sultan Hotel that is near the stadium, so if I would like to join and play badminton in Jakarta. Do you have any club or court that I can join ? Thank you for any answers.
Yup, there're first class/regular and VIP seats. The official ticket-price of last year edition (I guess it will be same price for 2010 edition) : -Qualifying & Preliminary Rounds (R/32 & R/16) : IDR.10,000 (1st class) / IDR.20,000 (VIP) -Quarterfinal : IDR.20,000 (1st) / IDR.50,000 (VIP) -Semifinal & FINAL : IDR.50,000 (1st) / IDR.100,000 (VIP) Hope you will enjoy ur first time visit in Jakarta
lucky you, if im not mistaken, Sultan is the official hotel for INA SS 2010, you'll be seeing some players around you For badminton club/court, I dont know the club name, but I know some ppl are playing in GOR Asia Afrika, next to Mulia Hotel, approx 2km from Istora. And Senayan sport area also has badminton field that utilizes by public, maybe you can try.
Big thanks cherry_cupcakes, You are so helpful ! I choose this hotel because Thai Badminton players and coach recommended me to stay at this hotel.
Thank you CLELY I hope I can get the good seat in the stadium. Have you ever attened to see the competition at stadium ? VIP seat price is Double that 1st class price. Is it a worth paying for VIP seat ???
there's a slightly chances for e-ticket selling ... http://www.djarumindonesiaopen.com/tickets/etickets/
Well, this is what I know: - VIP tickets can only be purchased in the 'Badminton City' area [within the Istora complex]. - non-VIP tickets can be purchased outside. - a purchaser can buy tickets for more than one day at a time. You can just line-up once and then buy tickets for all the way to the final. - tents will be put up in the ticket booths to prevent the ticket buyers getting baked by the Jakarta sun while in waiting in line... - e-ticket is not completely done yet... - maximum ticket price: Rp 150,000 [around US$ 17] for the semifinals and finals...
