Just maybe, in the latter half of G3 when Sindhu was visibly tiring (she can be seen holding her legs at some point), GJ should have just move her all over the court until her opponent's legs are wobbly and hands shaky; in other words, simply keep the shuttle in play for as long as possible until her opponent gives way from fatigue since GJ herself is less fatigued. Just what-if, if-only, don't take me seriously.

Such a pity for Gu Juan, so near yet so far. Hope it isn't a painful lesson for her and that she emerges stronger than ever from hereon. The same for the other SIN WS and WD such as Liang Xiaoyu, Xing Aiying , Chen Jiayuan, Yao Lei and Vanessa Neo, Fu Mingtian and Sari. All the best.

But dear Sindhu was having the momentum at that point and that break was a loss to Sindhus momentum :) if you say Juan Gu's momentum then yes she broke the losing momentum and won 2 poins after that... I dont think GJ would have a complaint for that... ;)

GVS/LKW takes the 1st game against KKK/TBH who so long have been MAS's number 1 MD.
    It is time to change?

As a matter of fact, Gu was quite surprised that the crucial break was allowed.

The fact remains that Sindhu needed the break to recover to her advantage.

Defending champ Koo/Tan lost. So they have gone 1 year without a title but still ranks no 3 in the world

Congratulations to GVS/LKW for taking the title. KKK/TBH showed no fighting spirit after losing the first game and I can even say that the score would be 21-9 in the second if GVS/LKW didn't serve so many times into the net.

Both pairs are quite evenly matched. I think a rubber game is on the card. 4-2 to Indo
