So there's 64TX out already. Specs look as delicious as some of their popular strings but I wonder if it tastes deliciously the same. Btw, what would be a good or best tension recommendation for zymax strings, say 62F, 69FP and this 64TX? I'm comfortable with some yonex and a couple of apacs strings at 26-28 lbs. Any thoughts, opinions or prayers maybe on zymax string tension?:)

all zymaxes activate at higher tensions and excels at them, zy70 is nice at 32+
    zy69 at 30-32
    zy66f at 30-32

Thanks bro. Unfortunately, I don't go higher than 28, but somehow I still get it that at that tension, it should be good:)

Just try ZM62F around 26-28 lbs. You'll like it.

Will do that. Thanks. My nbg 98 snapped while being strung at 28. Probably an old stock?

I was joking lol. Defective packets are normal though I’ve mostly only had issues with Aerobite and ultimax.

How is the durability of Zymax 0.62mm. I have been using BG65 for quite some time. I play with Nylon shuttlecocks

62 fire isn't really .62. I'm not even sure if it's even .65 actually. The durability is fine as long as you don't mishit. Durability of everything actually is fine if a lot of people I know always took their time with shots instead of rushing into it. Just don't expect to run it for months if you're half decent at the game.

Nylons + thin strings is just unnecessary. You can worry about your string once you switch to feathers and get past 24lbs/11kg tension. Before that, stick to something durable, anything else just isn't worth it.
For the record, I don't break strings easily, having to cut the last 3 BG80 strings after half a year because they were too dull :D but going for thin strings when you're using Nylon shuttles is just a waste of money imop. Can't feel much anyway and strings break easier on Nylon iirc.

ZM66 Fire Power is softer and mushier in feel relative to non Power. Like BG80 Power relative to BG80.

I have a feeling the Power versions were created specifically for people who play plastic birds to reduce the harshness on impact. But for you who play feathers, avoid Power at all costs as it will feel spongy and mushy.
