Zhou's new haircut is too short.

Well, nowadays, what's the definition for upset?

Just before last Denmark open, Zhou Mi was ranked outside top 50 maybe due to her only two tournaments presence. She was always behind Ruina until Japan open. If upset means lower ranked beats higher ranked, then Camilla are always making upsets.

In the simulator matches and training matches just before the WC, Gong Ruina did pretty well while Zhou Mi one of the worst in the China national team.

Gong is going to take it. Zhou is way way to tired to take the game.

    GongRN takes it!!

    10-4

beating Camilla killer #1 and #2. GongRN well deserve the title. and what a series of upset in this WC.

GongRN plays like Ye. but perhaps a bit more consistent than Ye. for this game, at least.

ZM has the quality to win, i would've put my money on her, but this final, she ran out of steam after the first game. what a pity.

Yeah.. you got a point. Personally, I had hoped for GZC or ZM to win. Ranking wise, ZM is second and the last few tournaments she took part in, she was pretty impressive. GRN is good, but comparing to ZM....just my 2 cts...

Yeah... our first and second choice for world champ is out... but that's the fun of it. It's meaningless if it is too predictable. Congrats Gong Ruina....

    Withdrawal symptoms

Sigh... I'm suffering from post World Championship withdrawal symptoms now. After so many nights of staying up till 5 am to catch internet scoring, I don't think I'm capable of sleeping early now.
