What is your favorite/most memorable win?
How did you pull it off?
    Thoughts at the time?
or just overall story will do :)

My favorite is a crazy insane comeback win.
Playing mens doubles for my high school we play to 21 and switch sides at 11. Just meeting the opponents was a scary thing for me because they were very big and I saw them smashing and  I didn't think I could defend it. When we started to play I found the game to be really boring and neither side could get a point mostly because of errors committed. After they got used to our home gym the points started coming. Before I knew it we were down 8 - 0 and I was thinking wow this will be a very long and embarrassing game, I just hope we don't get bagelled. At the half we were down 11 - 2. Some how we magically turned it around, but I was very unaware of my comeback up until the score got to 15 - 13 them. All my friends were cheering and our game drew quite a big crowd, rivaling some of the varsity matches. In the end we pulled off a sweet victory ending up at 21 -19. Oh btw this was today :)

I have a most memorable loss.. I was playing against really hardout people.. A-Grades. They were impossible for me to beat, but atleast I tried my best and I could pull-off shots that I couldnt even think of before.. And I was diving around the court like Lin Dan and Lee Chong Wei because of their deceptions.. :p Playing at my best of my ability is more imporatant than winning.

i was down 0-8 in the 3rd set (old scoring system) a few years ago. somehow i managed to level it at 8-8. my opponent went to ground and gave a sigh of confusion - "how!?!?"
i went on to win 15-13 or something along those lines (could've been 15-9 or 15-11, one of those)
after the match, he looked really down.

    15 years ago.......

    now i am 30 .....ha ha .....

i was always a doubles player ......but took part in a constituency singles competition cos our coach at that time submitted all of us in both singles and doubles .....

i managed to win easily on the first few games .....cos my opponents were slightly younger than me and managed to get into semifinals where i lost to the no. 1 seed ....ha ha ...

i had to face the 3rd seed in a 3rd placing competition .......

he was hot favorite cos he is a singles player and he was very confident of winning ......he is definitely a better singles player .....better skills and technique .....

i played my heart out in the game , i remembered running like a madman and chasing every shuttle.......which sort of pissed him off....it went to rubber set .....it was still a 15pt game then.......and i managed to win ....

the look of disgust on my opponents face was just perfect ....

it proves that desire and lots of effort could actually do it ....( + a bit of overconfidence on the opponents side ...ha ha ...)

i still keep the trophy ...........will always keep it ...

Mine was during a training session in school. We were playing ranking and my partner and I were fighting for 1st doubles against another pair. We were leading in the first set 17-12 but lost it 21-18. Then we came back to win the second set 21-5. I already gave up in the third set as we were down 11-20. When we got back the service and the score was 12-20, my opponent argued that it was 11-20 now! I was soooo angry that even when he was winning he still wanted to cheat! We ended up winning 22-20. Not even conceding a single point! Most memorable victory. :D

Definitely playing double's against former World Champion Halim Haryanto Ho for the first time and taking the first game.

My partner and I isolated Halim's partner and Halim couldn't do too much. But the next two games, Halim took over and we lost...of course. But at least we made Halim sweat and he cramped during dinner. :p...:D

Ohhhh no wait! My most memorable game ( again, a loss ) was a game against Rachel Hindley, a representitive player for NewZealand. I hit her. What a moment that was. Then I nearly hit her in the head but she dodged it and it went out.. Oh and that was on the same day as the other 'most memorable game'. I gotta do that Fundraising coaching/fun-tournament thing again one day.. it was awesome.

My achievements so far are small...but im happy with it...

I still remember i played in the interhouse MBA tournament(training academy tournament) and i was the so called-not-good-player....the first few rounds are round robin...fortunately, i managed to topple the good player...and that was a shock to me...smiling broadly that day !!! And then semi finals was after lunch, got a walkover and finally the FINALS !!! I lost to the best player in the tournament, but was happy overall because i did it !!! Got 2nd place, yet i will treasure the trophy properly =D

She's Bao Chun Lai -.-.. so freaking tall.
Me and my partner at that time, a mid-aged Korean guy lost against her and her 12-13 year old partner. She like never smashed at all but she did lots of super steep and precise sliced drops.. gah.. killed my back.
