This usually happens when stringer does not properly support the side when stringing which causes the frame to expand when main are strung. It'll be ok to play with, but make sure you cut the string right away when the main breaks.
i think u must ask your stringer...i has asked my stringer about this yesterday, and he said upon stringing...the stringer should poperly support the side as told by bad_fanatic. he also demostrate the knob of that adjustable support (at the bottom left side).
Same here, well I did tried Mizuno rackets before, but went back to Yonex and never going to purchase any other rackets besides Yonex.
That was good .... yonex has made intensive research to their products before they made it and expose to the public , yonex itself create a review on their products cause they know it more and their reputation will be down if they published wrong information onto their products.
V-80 is the best racket manufactured by Yonex in a long time. Whts the cost of V-80 in Australia . Anything cheaper than found at www.a2zsport.com.au
V 80 thats $ 190 but with no strings and additional shipping cost from Hong Kong . I dont think there is cheaper V-80 with strings than www.a2zsport.com.au even in HK, Malaysia or Singapore
Had my singles game last night. 4 games in 1 hour with the VT80. Played against my friend with the VT70 racket (who is about on par with me skill-wise). Had a light dinner and was hungry before getting to the badminton court. Basically felt like I was playing on an empty stomach. Bad move...should have brought a granola bar or something to re-energize between games. Also should have brought more than just 1 bottle of water. Damn...singles is tiring. Anyways...I won all 4 games (15-8, 15-10, 15-5, 15-8...yes it's with the old point system). First game was exhausting cuz my energy was depleting fast. And it really showed in game 2. Got my second wind to cruise in game 3 but was dead tired in game 4 (cuz I was lazy in moving for some shots). However, my friend wasn't as winded as I was (he has better stamina than me). Again...my smashes, drives and clears (especially to his backhand side) were great (again...first time with a head heavy stiff racket...so nothing else to compare it to). Had trouble with my drops in the first game but was able to regain some form for the other games. The games would have probably been closer as my friend was still (it seems) adjusting to his new racket (VT70). Alot of his smashes were just outside the lines were it would have normally been in. But a win is a win. We plan to play again every week. Hopefully this will increase my stamina and improve my techniques.
Hi everyone. Can I ask those of you who have purchased a VT80 to state what their price in US dollars was? I'm looking at a price of about $212 here (RM $634). Thanks.
