People are blaming Sukamuljo for being irresponsible, he just went back from Holiday in Bali, partying etc2. Gideon is tested negative I think, and in contrast he just spent the holiday with his family in Jakarta. That's why Herry IP said this.

Yup, the rest of INA squad have arrived in Bangkok and undergoing quarantine.
Negative test for Marcus. We'll wait and see what happens next...

Momota tests positive --> Whole Japanese team withdraws.

Malaysian head coach tests positive --> Whole Malaysian team travels to Bangkok like nothing happened.

Kevin had covid since mid-December --> INA team kept it secret until today, one day after the rest of the INA team arrived in Bangkok.

    Sooo stereotypical of each country.

1 week to go to till tournament, 2 weeks to complete first tournament. Kevin wont be the last, yeah.

All WR1 got bogged down you can say except TTY.

I believe AhsanHendra is the oldest seeded players/pairs. not to say, first seeded now. Dont know who ll qualify for the WTF but with so much shocks, it gives anyone the chance to win SuperSeries titles, premier it is.

Though titles these days might no matter anymore, money is most important for these professional to survive

Excerpt from PBSI press release :

    ======================================================

    - Since mid December 2020, Bayuwangi-born on 2nd August 1995 player has been separated with his teammates at Pelatnas PBSI Cipayung.
    - On December 20, 2020, Kevin did a PCR swab test at Mitra Keluarga Hospital, Kelapa Gading, with positive results. He then went into independent isolation at home.

That means he already tested positive on 20 December.
He's supposed to be in the hospital until he tests negative. Some countries its 2X negative, some 1X.

Précisément. Most hospitals in Jakarta have been overwhelmed as the positive cases rising steadily and there's no LOCKDOWN policy so far that should be implemented by the government to flatten the curve:rolleyes:

There's no room nor need to be in hospital just because a person tests positive. Self quarantine of a positive is done at home all over the world if it's mild. Only when it becomes severe or complications arise then is hospitalization needed.

In Msia it was straight to the government hospital if tested positive(mandatory), even if they are asymptomatic. Standard procedure till very recently when new cases spiked to more than 1,000 a day.

Now they go to a non medical quarantine center, the hospitals are getting full.

So Thailand is one of the places with the lowest cases in the world . Every player in the bubble will be safer in Thailand than in his own country . BTW - the same happened at Denmark Open in October . There was a bubble and there were no cases at all .

Good for all. I think Sg got less community infections. Well controlled compared to hkg and taiwan or china. We shd have a tournament in Sg asap before it spreads.

Btw, china vaccine is hopeless? Why withdraw? They cant quarantine or create a bubble for their players after tournament?
