This SN I love, taking initiatives and with her famous angled shots even from wrong positions. N this umpire is annoying, literally weird voice n speaks too much
She played to prove the point so spirited throughout. Great match, Congo Sindhu, Saina to me looks fit, She'll do great in next tournament. Best QF ever no ifs n buts
Saina would have won if the match went to rubber. Hope to see Sindhu win tomorrow against an in form Sung.
Yes, Gill Clark mentioned that some months ago-- too many players (as in almost EVERY player is) using it as an excuse to walk all around the court (to flick off sweat outside it) before serving/ receiving. But it's not so much a new ruling as a clarification/ addendum to the basic rule that play must be continuous and all players must stay on court during play until otherwise permitted by the umpire...
Sameer lost when he was leading in g1, I closed my lappy. N now I see the scoreline, pretty close but this could've been his bigger breakthrough tourney
Really...how do you figure? She looked pretty tired in G2. Umpire had to keep calling her back from rest breaks...
pv winning is no surprise to me. should've gone 3 games but saina couldn't close out 2nd game. the first 10 points of the 1st game all i could think was both of them were pushing the pace too fast and they would both run out of gas.
An encouraging match for Nozomi, some great play in G3. Although Akane was too much for her in the end. Same for Saina in a way. Glad to see Hirota/ fukushima continuing their success! I have been following up this pair for a few years now and always knew of their potential. Very special match tomorrow as they are facing the pair that they kicked out from the Jap badminton association group A.
Saina in twitter " Happy to be moving well on the court after the knee surgery in my right knee in just third tournament after the surgery. Fought well today. Next malaysia open" Sent from my SM-G600FY using Tapatalk
