spare the umpire. he has to made the decision in a split second, without any video assistance. he is human after all. if he is selected for the final game, he must be doing alright this week.
it is not the first time when this umpire makes mistakes, but this time it was at a match point.... BEC/BWF should really care more about right decisions than treating umpires as some theater actors and prioritizing way more show part than actually doing right calls, but anyway very nice intense MS final, both players showed very very great badminton.
Fans has to email BWF about these calls with proof . Hope some indonesian fans will do it. Otherwise, this thing will continue and BWF won't take any action.

what ways are there to ensure there is no wrong decision in future? installing more video cam which is costly (perhaps the cost is justified for a higher grade tour)? install on how many courts, 1, 2 or all? having professional umpires (but bear in mind they could make mistake too)? perhaps there will be less incrimination if it did not happen at match point.
No.. imagine if its LCY that is in Ginting situation and he did this netshot and got faulted and lost the match because of stupid umpire call...,, Ginting will not come out alive from HK.. So what to do.. Its better that Ginting come back safely... Kudos to Ginting to never take that winning moment away from LCY.. he could easily challenge/ call the tournament referee. TH will have done that.. VA / AA will have done that. Hell even I will walk out of the court.
