Complete lateral inversion in g2. Both of them struggling at the near side of the court, surprisingly it was the other way around in the WS match
I think LCW's strategy is to put in more effort to take G1 first and hopefully has enough energy left for the next one or two sets, rather than play the whole match in a measured pace, only stepping up when necessary without straining himself too much.
I watched the replay of sindhu's match. Starting from the beginning , sindhu was in control. Akane's gameplan was to lift high to the backhand of Sindhu. That was the initial strategy employed by her during the first half of First game. Even she served high. But sindhu used cross court drops whenever akane employed high lifts to sindhu's backhand. She then used that strategy rarely since it is backfired. Whenever she expected a lift, sindhu played again to the net and forced her to lift. Sindhu even used straight drop shots. Akane did not use her signature high served afterwards. She used short serve. Sent from my SM-G600FY using Tapatalk
Normally I would support SWH but LCW really needs to end this year on a high, esp after the recent diabolical failures.
12 straight points. Flashback of WC for SWH against KS? Although this time I am not sure if he will luck out
LCW is sick and tired of all the brickbats he's been receiving lately and decided on releasing his pent-up emotion today. Poor Son Wan Ho.
