TTY beat Marin again after last week in China. Hope TTY win the title here. Always a treat to watch her play.

WS matches are now more interesting than MS..

technique, deception, physicality and strategy all have a role to play. It's like the old days of Big 4: Peter Gade, Tauifk, LD and LCW.

The often underated TTY has proven her critics wrong. What an entertaining match!

That was really entertaining. So much power and precision in every stroke/ Good job by Marin as well; losing focus a bit at the end but she still played a formidable match

Understandable for Marin to be off form after basically winning everything that matters in individual badminton competition. I think we'll only see her excelling again in the new year!

Hum sorry? she hasn't won a single superseries this year. And she was clearly in full form. TTY was excelling more that's all. When TTY is playing like this she is unbeatable.

post match interview - Marin said she is not in good condition after Olympics. Tai said she could the support from the HK crowd. But when asked her opponent tomorrow might be from HK, she said that would be a little nervous.

After Olympics, none of the champions have done well. There's a good reason for that.

She wasn't doing well before the Olympics as she couldn't reach the final in any of the first 6 superseries. She also couldn't reach the finals in Dubai at the end of last year, losing twice in a row to Nozomi Okuhara/
