Yonex SP Bag SUNR-951W BT6 ......weird??

    Hi all,

To all players who have bought this bag, i need to confirm something :

It seems that the handle straps of this bag is not even in length. ie; one strap is longer than the other.

For mine, the strap with the velcro handle is longer than the other.

I called Sunrise and the they said that it is like that, that it's designed this way.

Can anyone here confirm this? .... is it really designed this way? ..... or did i just get smoked?

    Thanks in advance all.

There is also one minor difference which are the small zip tags. The JP version are made of PVC leather whereas SP is the same canvas material from the main body.

At the price of $7x-00, I rather pay a bit more to purchase the new bag (black with dark sparkling red) as displaced at the boutique entrance.

The sp version of 951w is really ......... sad.

To all bros who have the JP version of this bag .....

Can anyone enlighten me if the handle straps on the JP version are also equal in length?

And if there are any other members here who have the SP version, can you guys also help me confirm if your handle straps are equal in length? .... or uneven also?

Many thanks in advance to all !

The handle straps on the JP version 951W are nearly perfectly equal in length. This is also the same with the newer 1111W.

I am not sure if they kept this design with the Sunrise version but on the other hand you would definitely expect the JP version bags to have a tighter and more strict quality control, which you will be paying more for compared to the Sunrise bags.

The SP version of 951W also has a near perfectly equal length in its handle strap, I measured mine using a measuring tape & I can tell u both ends are almost equal in length.

dingboy, how uneven is your strap? if it's only a little bit uneven, then it's pretty normal (coz I don't count half a cm difference as uneven)

I do understand the standards and quality differences between JP and SP products, but i'm talking about handle straps that are of uneven length .... approx 2 inch difference!

And some bros here who have the SP version (bought in Singapore) say that their handle straps are of, or almost, equal length ..... hence my confusion. :(

Anyways, i'm trying to gather more info and feedback from other JP & SP owners.

I'll try to post pics up tonight, so that all will have a better understanding of my situation.

My handle straps are quite prominently uneven ..... when i velcro the handles up, the bag becomes lop-sided.

I'll try to post pics up tonight to better illustrate the 'problem'. :)

I have brought up this issue with the staff at Sports Life. They wil get back to me with an answer from Sunrise. Will keep you posted. All the current stocks in the store have this issue of uneven handles with the velcro handle longer.
