Pablo says he need to change the shuttle now that LD's head sweat touched it.

    Lin Dan, "sweat?"

you have to appreciate the skill that LD has. he is so much superiority he can dictate the scoreline at will.

Lin Dan so casual, relaxed, not willing to work hard for his points, yet winning.

It's Abian's footwork that disturbs me, it's not fluid at all. Looks like he is in physical distress - no offense.

I agree, but it's not just Abian.

You either have it, or you don't.

agree. in countries where kids are not so strictly trained, it is not uncommon to see techniques that are not as fluid.

we are too used to top countries like China/Korea where they emphasize as much as form as function. the luxury is simply not there.

    Very unlikely really.
He's been getting the stick from a lot of lesser players already.
He will play in Rio but will not make it to a medal again.

i actually think it is nice for the players to have a jacket on for the medal ceremony, instead of on their playing clothes all drenched in sweat.

I would even go as far to say, most Danish players don't look as fluid either. PG, JJ, HKV and possibly VA sometimes, all play a bit too structured, robotic and linear. It's hard to explain.

However, the training in Denmark is just something else. In England, we very much aspire to have something like what the Danes have, to produce so many top player, from such a small pool to start off with.

Lin Dan fails to get the shuttle over the net and heads it over.
