Yonex Rackets in Bangkok

The prices are more competitive at the shops near the stadium (or MRC) compared to the malls (eg Paragon, Supersports etc) even though there is no VAT refund.

You need to spend at least Baht 5,000 in the malls and fill in the VAT refund form to claim the 7% VAT. You can go the VAT refund counter (before immigrations) to process the form and collect the refund after you have cleared immigrations.

Yonex t-shirts (made in Thailand) are available at the Yonex showroom located on Level 3, Central World Plaza.

Thanks that's really useful to know. I'll be looking everywhere, I like to compare prices before buying :)

Do the stadium shops offer discount for payment in cash?

And yeah if anyone is near a shop and can get get prices for the rackets I listed that would be excellent.

Also has the VT70 e-tune been released? Interested in that now too!

Thanks for being so helpful everyone :)

Personally, MRCSports is still the best deal for me when i visit Thailand. 100% insurance for authentication, and the price is cheaper than else where... cheaper than the infamous parrot sport or sport marketing. Too bad, none of them sell Adidas racket yet.

Can I know where are the outlets for MRC?

Are you guys referring to the National Stadium near MBK?

Cash is preferred and you need to pay a surcharge for usage of credit card.

I do not remember the exact prices but the top models should cost less than 100 pounds (unstrung). yes VT70 e-tune was released last month in Bangkok.

Ok so I asked about yonex in Bangkok on reddit a few days ago too.

A guy replied saying he walked past a shop in Central World mall (?) and took this pic. If you zoom in you can see the prices! On the price labels it says 'Free' and then some smaller writing. Anyone know what the free thing is?

I haven't embedded the image because I think it might be pretty big.

Can someone advise if you can haggle with MRC Sports? And if you can, what sort of discounts/deals did you get?

Do shops still sell Nanoray 800 in Bangkok? I got a demo one this week and I quite like it. Gonna try the Nanoray 900 next and compare it.
I really like the paint job on the 800 though! It would look great with yellow strings :)

Can't wait to go shopping! Just a few more weeks til I'm in Thailand :)

Yes the NR800 is still available in Bangkok

Hi, am traveling to Bangkok next week, would like to ask where can I get the most Yonex stuff like bags - JP Model , racket & how's the pricing there ? cheaper than M'sia ? thanks

Am in bangkok, personally feel that the range available nothing much compare to malaysia. I been national stadium there, yonex shop & MRC sport. The only different is there are some old stocks which already depleted in m'sia but I still can buy here like Arcsaber 9FL, ARCSABER 10 PETER, ARMOTEC 700,

Is Yonex Nanoray 90dx sold in BKK? I know it's not a high end racket.. but I had a go with one and I kinda like it!

To update: Nanoray 90dx was in Sports World and Yonex (2700 baht both shops but Yonex gave me a free Yonex bag 7331 +free string +free stringing!) Both are 3rd floor of central world plaza mall.

Racquets are also sold in the sports section in Paragon mall but full retail price, too expensive!

Mr C sports had the Nanoray 750 I wanted. for 4350 baht :) Stringing labour was free but bg65ti was 190 baht.

V happy, approx £140gbp total, and free bag. This would have cost me well over £200 in the UK!
