Lin Dan keeps tugging at his shorts, the right side, he is bothered by it.

Completely agree with you. The logo thing is probably playing at the back of his mind, maybe he's worried about what the sponsor might say or do to him later.

Coming back against CTC is no big deal. Winning 5 world champs, 2 Olympics etc, is a big deal. This is just a small tournament.

Lin Dan must really go home and learn to be more proactive. Really.

He seems to wait for too long.

Let the excuses pour out now from the usual suspects. For me, I was wrong. Hehe.

LD got a warning from the sponsor : You better get out of there fast or we will sue you.

CTC did well to gather himself in the last 4-5 points of the match. He gambled with some superb attacking shots, hoping LD wouldn't get them back, and he won! If each of those rallies had been 10+ shots, there was no way CTC was winning. Well done.

A big disappointments. Lin Dan has been that now for almost a year. He came out with a bang. But seems to have lost the plot now.

How often has he lost now? Too often for a "God."

Is this the performance of an Olympic Gold Contender? Doesn't seem to be.

What was the performance of Lin Dan before he won the two Olympic Golds? He almost never lost.

LCW was also down 13-20 at one point in a bigger tournament than this, and beat the supposedly "God of badminton". No big deal, he's never won a major.

LD isn't the player to beat anyway. It's Chen Long.

How about LD is old? Yeah, LCW is old too. Neither players are the favorite for the WC this year. Sadly, they are past their prime. Enjoy LD and LCW on the tour for the next year, even if they are past their prime. Because after the Olympics, I don't think they'll be on the tour anymore.
