    Agreed!!!
Well the current badminton scenario can not be compared with tennis!
We don't have anyone as consistent as Djoko (even CL looses to players like PK,MZ etc)
We don't have anybody's aura as feirce as Serena (CM do shows some +ve signs but still to be tested)
But of course we have our very own Richard G., PK
Our own Maria Sharapova (RI just comparing her H2H against WYH/LXR)
Our own Andy Murray (Kento M)
Maybe Garbine Muguruza can be compared to Sun YU
    And MZ to Dimitrov
As well as Nick Kyrgios to Xue song

And one single thing of paramount importance, the badminton does not have the giant corporations esp. those in financial industry to regularly hand over the usd millions of prize money to award to each winner.

As well as the absence of the endless limelight of news coverage by the legion of MSM and their minions worldwide... just open your local newspapers and watch out their sport sections, pay attention on how they keep on pumping the news on few select sports every day, even on those countries with dismal achievements in those elite sports, and extensive broadcast of few subscribed/paid sport channels with sheer dominance...

We're here talking about the disproportionate benefits in all aspects! Tennis is a good representation of the few jewel case sports for the establishment. A made believe situation as part of the current state of the world affairs.

But lament no misery, even those much more popular sports than badminton (indoor volleyball, table tennis, etc) are far away from such luxury. For sure blame not the badminton!!

    Agree^ ^
Yes as far as India is concerned we barely have a page or two on a +be note featuring sports news!!
The centre is always a poster picture of a cricketer even if none of the series/tourney are ongoing.. Only the corner braces have other sports news!! Badminton will only be featured if SN/KP eaches QF or higher in any A class tourney (these days SK also) tennis is always their.. Of course Sania Mirza and Leander's recent triumph at Wimbledon was well covered!! Some glimpses of Motor sports and Football also steals their fair share but that's it anything else is as rare as an One horn Rhino..
