If you're looking for a more powerful racket than the FB then you won't find it in the NR750. I could generate more power from a FB that I tried for a few minutes than the NR750 that I've played with for 2 weeks.
The main difference is that the FB is a bit easier to maneuver. The 750 gives a slightly crisper shot and has better feel. If you hit the FB off the sweet spot, it's not as forgiving. I think you should give the 3U 750 a try. It was very easy going from the FB to it and timing was not a big issue. All aspects of my game improved with the 750 because it was easy to generate extra power with that I couldn't with the FB. I get a lot more power from the 3U 750 compared to the 4U or FB. Probably just different style of hitting of the shuttle. I wouldn't rule it out til he gets a chance to try it first.
Yeah I think I'm just more suited to even to head heavy rackets. I struggled with the NS7700 as well a few years back and some have said the NR750 plays similarly to the NS7700.
Very true. My main racket was the NS7700 from 2007-2012. When I switched to the 750, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for to replace the old 7700.
I bought two of these rackets today and I had club night so practiced with them and I must say, possibly the best racket I have tried for a long time now. This is my favourite racket now. Clears were effortless, my backhand drives landed perfect on the back baseline, my opponents were in shock how consistent I was hitting them. Even though I don't have a hard smash, my smashes felt sharper and the sound when I hit them was brilliant. Around the net, this racket excels... quick and nippy and very easy to manoeuvre, Defence is a breeze, easy to block smashes or lift to the back. I cannot recommend this racket enough!! I think NR750 is great racket. I own following rackets all strung with NBG98, tension either 24 or 25. NZS(3U), NR900(3U) 25LB, NR750 NS3000 24LB. Weight wise: NZS > NR900 > NS3000 > NR750 Power wise: NZS > NR900 = NS3000 = NR750 Drive : NR750 = NS3000 > NR900 > NZS Forehand Clear: All equal Backhand clear: NS3000=NZS > NR900 = NR750 Defense: NR750 > NR900 = NS3000 > NZS Smash: NZS > NR900 = NS3000 = NR750
Hi guys. Is good that this post is available. I'm currently deciding to purchase either Nanoray 750 or Arcsaber FB. I read through this post and saw some who have these two rackets. Need some advice before purchasing. My wrist is quite weak when smashing. I play mostly doubles. I'm an all rounder, can play front and back. I currently own an Arcsaber 11 which I like. Hope I provide enough info. Hope someone can help me. Thanks.
ARC FB is 5U, NR750 is 4U. If you have weak wrist with smashing, NR750 give you more power than FB. Also NR750 is stronger than ARCFB. But ARCFB is speedier than NR750. I personally like NR750 much better.
By the way, the maximum tension recommended is 24. I want it to be string at 26lbs. Anyone string beyond 26?
Hi i am currently using a 4U VT70ETN and before that i was from a Mizuno Caliber VS Tour. Both this racket are head heavy and even balnce with VS-T Bp at 293mm. I like the VS-T more than the voltric due to the voltric having a bit of lag. so im finding something similar to the VS-T but a Yonex. Would Nanoray 750 4U be a good option?
